Not every support kill is a ks

I just played a game as Annie support and went 13/3/6, immediately once I got into que our top lane riven was complaining about how I was support Annie with ignite, she said I didn't pick a support and that I "better not ks." Once we got into game Miss Fortune and I died in a 2 for 2 trade, eve got one kill, I got the other, after that we demolished lane, and I got a ton of kills, most of them by instabursting the enemy ADC, through out the whole game everyone was talking about how I was ks'ing even though I was the one earning the most kills, by doing the most damage, this annoyed me. At the end screen, I looked at the damage stats and I dealt double the damage of anyone on the team, so is it reasonable to get kills on a carry support like Annie, or should I just peel for my team and set up kills for them? Thanks

KS = Kill Secured. It's not worth trying to give someone the kill, because it makes little difference in gold anyway, and enemy can run away with a little bit of luck. I've seen it happen many times.

Its a team game, STOP COMPLAINING OVER KILLS Its a TEAM game The kills belong to THE TEAM they are not "All mine by default"

Do you see TSM or SKT stopping matches dead in the middle of a fight to sit there and cry "DUDE YOU KSed ME, WTF" No...Because they know its a team game, its about the NEXUS. I laugh in the face of anyone who calls KS and say "then pay more attention next time" Alot of these people are NOT paying attention, not watching the map, not watching the team. But when someone takes a kill, they immediately flip and dont understand why the kill wasnt immediately handed off to them.

I have played support and had adcs run away from a kill, give up on chasing it. But as soon as I brave damage and secure the kill THEY ran away from, they flip out and lose their minds like I intentionally went out to rob them.

Its a team game, Team kills.

TEAM CARRY > SOLO CARRY

i don't know why you complain about how your team complains about ksing as support. If you don't like what someone says then just mute them. I take ignite as blitz and R the enemy adc to "kill secure", and if my adc tilts from that, that's fine they can go feed. And if they ping you too much, mute pings too. Works every time, and you can climb to gold using just the mute strat alone.

It's recommended for supports to give up kills for their team mates because they can generally better make use of it; the support role, by definition, is one that can function with comparatively less gold. When you play a carry Support, you're expected to make up for your lack of utility with damage, but that damage too is also meant to give your adc an edge; not necessarily yourself.

If it's a 2v2 and your partner isn't instantly within range, I recommend bursting an enemy instantly if you can rather than bursting them down most of the way because waiting for an ally to come and claim the kill leaves a window of time for them to flash away, dash away, or get peeled by their ally. If you've surrounded them, then you can offer them up to your ally, but even while you do so, you should put yourself in a position to take them out in the event that they escape your ally or start winning a duel against them.

It is always better to secure the kill than to risk trading a kill or wasting your abilities. Though your teammates might have assessed the situation differently, all that matters for your decision is what your judgement is; not theirs.

Seriously, only an amateur ADC thinks a support kill is wasted. Who gets the kill doesn't really matter, what DOES matter is now the ADC has time to farm up for better items, getting first tower, etc. This is the same for every role in the game. Fed up a bit myself of being told that I ks'ed, at best I wouldn't mind if someone is a little annoyed but if someone blames a loss on a ksing teammate, they need a hard reminder this is League, not team deathmatch.

Draaaaaaaven is the one adc you want to try to give the kill. It's a weird thing to attempt to give kills, but if the alternative is a kill getting away, go for the kill.

I picked Lulu, did the normal stuff, using Windspeaker's Blessing, picked up Knight's Vow and Ardent Censor. But I got 5 kills and 3 assists while my allies kept dying off and I didn't die once. Meanwhile, our bottom slot player wouldn't stop crying that the scoreboard was acknowledging that I was finishing off the enemy champions. Well, I'm shielding you guys but you're dying anyway, so it's not my fault. Thankfully no one else on the team was raging about it, and the team agreed to surrender because we didn't want to play with the baby raging egomaniac.

That is why I love Ziliean support. ADC has three seconds to get the target down. If they failed too bad kill secured.

What annoys me is two things.

First is the support ALWAYS getting the kill. After about 5 kills I am kind of sick of it.

Second is when I die due to the support not wanting to take the kill.

I hate adc.

I don't leave any kills hanging, period. Lag happens. My adc is retarded happens (a lot). Shen decided to suddenly ult in. They pop a heal right when the stun wears off. Janna cock blocked me again. Too many times I've watched slivers walk away that should be corpses. So now I kill that motherfucker. With an auto or what ever I have. The quicker it stops hitting my adc the quicker I can go back and buy a ward machine. If I get the kill, they were too slow anyways because I'm not building damage. If the adc turns into a crybaby I just kill them faster. It's less likely that a crybaby will be able to secure kills than someone who wants to win.

to me it's never a ks unless the person does absolutely nothing to earn the kill(think a jungler walking up, doing no damage, but chilling smites for the final damage). If a blitz gets a hook, I don't care if I get the kill or not, because he landed the hook and therefor contributed to the kill.

The important thing to remember is that, as support, you are in the unique position of not being able to mute other players because you need to hear them call plays.

But you will also be dragging them kicking and screaming to victory.

As Brand support, I get so many double kills when my adc dies and the enemy duo + jungler think they can tower dive me while my ult is up. Bronze can be a lovely place.

What i can do.. my fisrt item was rabadon why? When every the support manages to get last hit I just kind of cry because I suck. No but really, whatever wins us lane. Unless the support is purposefully getting last hit, I really don't care
