Toxic Behaviour

I'd like to start this post by saying I am in no way trying to bring attention to a specific summoner, but am trying to bring up a point, and example that riot should really see. If the linked video does somehow violate board rules, I apologize and am completely understanding if it gets taken down. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Let's start: This Lux. This game alone almost aged me an extra year, and obviously stressed me out enough to make this post. I am seeing more and more people who just don't care about the other people in game, they don't want to have fun, and want to just be constantly negative. I'm not talking about the occasional trash talk or psychological warfare between teams, I'm talking about players not listening to their team at all because they believe they are the end all be all of league of legends. Who knows, it might get better in higher ELOs, but I haven't experienced it as I am low silver, but it seems that a lot of people feel the same way I do, and I know of lots of people who love just to have fun, do their best and play some norms. The problem comes from people being WAY too invested in the game. Yes, 15-30 mins on average, with say 3-5 mins of champ select in between, is a large time investment and I too have had several times where I was annoyed when I go through champ select just for it to be clear that my team was going to lose the game 5 minutes in. But it's goes too far when you decide to grief the entire game, until the person that tilted you originally carries the win for you. This is unacceptable in my mind, and should be punished 100% of the time, even if it's the first time someone has done it, mostly to insure they don't consider it an option again, and reform into a much friendlier player.

This all comes down to us as a community, if we stop protecting these people in game, and begin actually telling them not to act the way they are. The league of legends community can be amazing and super friendly outside of the game, but we need to, as a whole, start moving that into the game as well. We all need to support an approach to the game that it's okay to have bad games, and it's okay that you won't or aren't rank 1 challenger. It's an amazing goal to have, to be the best but we need to be careful as a community to promote an attitude that accepts the best from everyone isn't the same. I think if we can do that, we can all have a happier, and less stressful game experience, even in ranked :)

Stay calm, and have fun summoners! See you out on the Rift!

So to me it looks like Warwick (I'm assuming this is you) went to tower dive Ekko twice, and were killed both times for it; effectively feeding him two unnecessary kills. If I were that Lux i'd probably be pretty salty too, lol. You played pretty poorly there.

However, this 100% did not give her the right to follow you around all game and take your camps. I've taken a jungler's camps on more than a few occasions for various reasons, but never maliciously. This Lux obviously meant to tilt you. Sorry you had to deal with someone like that, and I hope they get some sort of punishment for acting this way.

But maybe stop tower diving people so recklessly oml aahah
