Kind of worried about getting a ban or something from my recent match

So I was playing a in a match as jungle, and I was doing my normal thing, but unfortunately the enemy jungle got 4 kills in the first 5 mins, and my team tilted out of control from there. Next thing I knew I messed up a gank because my internet decided to dip at the worst time, and I couldnt ult the enemy mid laner which got us both killed. After that I had 3 of my 4 teammates trying to get the enemy team to report me, and all of them ganging up and constantly harrassing me. I didnt flame back I just told them to "F---- off" or to "eat s---" as a defensive thing. Don't really want to get banned for any amount of time, as I am a non toxic player, and Im just wondering if this will affect me at all :/

If this is your first offence you have nothing to worry about bro.

Just mute players because league is a really toxic community.

Keep in mind that multiple reports in one game are no different from just one. It makes no difference if your teammates were trying to get the other team to report you as well. You aren't going to get in any trouble anyway, unless you do that often.

Well, it's certainly not a good thing to answer negative players back with more negativity, but when you don't have a history of it, it's unlikely that you will be penalized for a single match (unless it contained hate speech, instructions to self-harm, or other extreme toxicity.) The system is designed to forgive players for situations like this. Just try to not let it become a habit. In the future, just mute them if they begin to flame you. You don't really gain anything useful from listening to them, as they aren't giving you any valuable information, and it's only putting you at risk of getting in trouble if you snap at them.

Don't say "fuck off" and such, especially in the situation you outlined. Remember, lag spikes often make you look like you're intentionally feeding. A few words probably won't result in a punishment, but why chance it?

Give de-escalation a try by saying "I'm so sorry, terrible lag spike at the worst time". By answering them with anger and insults instead, you solidify their opinion of you that you're throwing the game and trolling them.

De-escalation might not work, but at that point, you just gotta mute and move on. Fire doesn't work against fire.

If you have a clean history (no punishments), then this won't constitute a ban by itself. Unless you've been toxic in this way recently, you should have nothing to worry about. Even if you have been somewhat toxic in your last few games or so, you'll only get hit with a 10-game chat restriction unless you said something REALLY bad.

In other words, you're fine. I seriously doubt you'll even get a chat restriction for this.

if you have uncommon bad behavior in a game once in say 30 games you should be good.
