so this 5 man decided to report me for "being toxic and rude" to their mid laner, the first thing i said as a joke was when maokai ganked me for first blood and i was like "omg noob poosy bish riport riport riport!11" then i got fed and annie commented after that saying "lol dont brag now cause ur getting fed" "lol dont takl shit" but i never talked in all chat, she was being toxic and annoying so at the end of the game im like "Just too ez" for the annie and see what her response was, at the end of the chat all they said was like "That wasnt a joke noob." "Enjoy your report" and i was so freaking confused on how they took a simple joke way tooo far. i literally went 11/1 and they tilted me into oblivion and now i fear my account will get banned for literally nothing

As the system is automated and doesn't use any context, it has no way of knowing what you said was a non-serious joke. So yes, that will count as a valid report and can get you punished.

A one-off occasion like that, if you're being truthful, won't even net you a chat restriction. You have to be consistently toxic over several games to warrant a punishment (except in cases of hate speech, encouragement to self-harm, etc.). I wouldn't worry about it, unless you said other things or were toxic on other occasions.

the system has the ability to filter out false reports, so don't need to be afraid if you didn't do anything wrong. if it was 1 bad game, you won't get punished for it.

to get punished, you need to have a severely toxic game or consistent mild toxicity over many games.
