Toxicity should be dealt with according to the player's rank/stats

Tbh it doesn't matter if you flame as long as you're actually good at the game. Had a Singed who massively flamed a feeding midlane Yasuo as well as the rest of the team and didn't really blame/report him as he stomped his lane and tried his hardest to carry teamfights while the yasuo kept splitpushing and feeding his ass off; we lost the game as the enemy mid laner completetly outclassed us.

Now some people gonna prattle how toxicity destroys games and ruins the fun aspect but that's just silly. You can always go on and mute the flamer but you CANNOT ignore the feeder who will you cost you LP and fuck up your MMR (my MMR dropped from plat 5 to gold 3 off that 1 game somehow, but that's besides the point).

Idk about others but I'd rather have an ultra toxic Singed over a garbage ass boosted feeding Yasuo any day of the week. If you have good overall stats and did well in a specific game you should get the right to flame the monkeys that hold you back from climbing, that's the very least they deserve. However if you're a silver 4 Riven with negative winrate and try to talk big then you definitely deserve the ban hammer.

See, it does matter if you flame ever.

I play this game to have fun. I play with friends who are diamond. I play with friends who are bronze. I play across a lot of different ELOs.

I never want to have to watch people abuse other players. I don’t care if I’m playing a custom, a normal, ranked, featured, or if I’m playing hopscotch outside. I should not have to watch people abuse other players. And Riot agrees with the majority of the player base who plays this game casually and doesn’t want to see that from anyone - carrying or feeding.

"I shouldn't get punished for flaming because I believe I'm better than someone at a game."

Seriously?

May I ask you a question? The majority of players are in the Bronze and Silver elos (which means there's a lot of opinions here), so how would this work if say two silvers flame each other versus two platinum players? Wouldn't they in this case be treated the same despite their rank (the system we have now) or should the platinum players be punished less severely even though they were as toxic as the silver players?

I am not saying you're argument or suggestion is wrong, but I am saying that what's wrong with the system now and why do you want this change? I think we should address this first.

You can report on whatever ticks you off. Punishing one form of toxicity and not another seems a little weird, though.

Why should it matter? Thats like saying a rich person has more rights then a poor person. Everyone is equal even in LoL. If you got banned don't expect Riot to unban you.
