Just because my Honor Level increases, does not mean my tolerance does.

Hi! HL3 player here (2/3). Not super super high, although not super low either, but, I have a gripe.

Every time I pass an honor checkpoint, it appears the amount of players with horrible attitudes I encounter when solo queuing seems to increase, and dramatically? I'm not saying my HL is the reason this is happening, but the correlation is insane (especially when I have been HL0, and not that long ago.) I'm not a proponent of /mute-all (in short, it breeds unnecessary toxicity, in that people can't communicate, and I think it's also a little pompous to assume that you as a player are above anything else on the team, including communication), but I mute people pretty much on the first signal of nonsense.

Why am I having to deal with this, and what incentive would it give for me to continue to play or even cooperate with these people? I just dealt with a Jhin who missed a play, died and had a complete mental breakdown, including running down lane and feeding kills, along with the person he was obviously duoing with. Because Riot's player behavior integrity is completely shot to sh*t (prove me wrong), they won't be banned or punished, but I'm trying to figure out how to best deal with this kind of stuff when it inevitable occurs again? It's kind of annoying?

I am HL5. I found that in my most recent games, spanning about a month or more (even before PROJECT: event), I found that most people were either exactly as when I was HL2, or just a tad nicer. Nearly no change in between both different times.

There is no system putting you in games with HL0s. This is why you are getting downvoted. You are screaming conspiracy when there is none. It's just RNG, based on MMR. Much too sad that you are getting these people, not saying it's untrue. Just saying that there is no system placing you with bad people.

Deal with it the way I deal with anonymous strangers who might just be children for all I know; dont take them seriously. Report them if they break the rules. Treat them like a cringe video.. like they are your cheap, low brow entertainment. Or when youre just not in the mood, ignore them. I dont know exactly what kind of response youre looking for here. Yes it is annoying. But one thing you or Riot will never be able to do, is control people. So yeah, just like with all aspects of life, youre just gonna need to find a way to cope. Like I said, I just dont take them seriously and dont take anything personal. They could be teenagers for all you know. Teenagers just dont give a fuck. They arent gonna listen to reason or logic or take you seriously.

Also, if you want some hope in Riot's ability to moderate trolls and inters, look around the boards. Ive seen at least 5 threads of people being banned for inting in the past 2 weeks. So they do catch em for that... not all the time. But you cant truthfully say they will never get punished.
