Why the fuck is swearing a permaban

But fucking account sharing in ranked games, afk in ranked games, leaving in ranked games is PERFECTLY OK by riots standards and DOESNT warrant an immediate ban. Swearing in no way affects the outcomes of games when compared to account sharing, afk and leavers.

Everything you listed IS punishable, and I'm pretty sure you did more than just a little bit of swearing if you got perma'd.

There's no rules against swearing. They actually explicitly state you can swear, just not at players

Let me guess, you weren't just swearing, but you were cussing out players, and you ignored the two chat restrictions and the two week ban?

Everything you listed is punishable, but you just see more people complaining about chat related bans than gameplay related bans. Swearing by itself is not punishable, but swearing at others is. From Understanding the Tribunal:

1) What's the point of having a language filter if I can get banned for 'adult' language? a) We aren't out to punish players who use adult language; in fact, very few players are ever banned for saying stuff like "f***, I missed that skill shot" or "damn, fing close game!" However, the language filter is not an excuse to verbally abuse someone in the game. When you verbally abuse or harass someone by calling them "fing *****" or "ngger noob", that's when you've crossed the line and will be punished by the Tribunal. I've said this before and I'll say it again, we aren't trying to clean online games of adult language; we're trying to reform or get rid of jerks who like to verbally abuse and harass other players.

Alone, swearing is not punishable. When you start directing that swearing at other players in a negative fashion, that's when the problem arises. You could say things like "Shit, sorry I missed my ultimate" or "Fuck yeah, that was a great play" without getting punished. However, saying something like "You're fucking shit at this game. Uninstall." will indeed get you punished because it really doesn't have a place here.

As for the other things you mentioned, Riot does punish those actions. For account sharing, if it's for a game or two, my guess is it probably won't be punished, but Riot does punish major forms of account sharing like Elo Boosting. Leaving/going AFK is also punished. Now, if you don't believe that the punishment for leaving is sufficient, that's a different topic that we can discuss if you wish.
