I Told Someone To "Git Gud" On The Boards, And Got A 24 Hour Ban
Not only is your In-game banning incredibly unfair, but so are the boards bans. Actually pathetic.

"Git gud" is something that I've been actioning on in Gameplay specifically because it derails whatever the OP had in mind and has potential to start fights. That's something we like to get ahead of if possible. Generally, if the comment is something that looks like it's intended to instigate or provoke someone, it's going to get actioned on.
I'm open to hearing more about why you think it's unfair or pathetic on whatever venue you choose.
While the proper place for this would be Discuss the Boards, since you came here, I'll give you my take on it.
The comment "git gud" in that thread did absolutely nothing to further constructive discussion, and really had no place. It was a useless comment whose only purpose was to either meme, which isn't appropriate on the Gameplay boards, or to harass the OP for "not being good". Comments whose sole purpose is to attack others or make fun of them for playing poorly, even if the comment is being used as a "meme" (outside of the Memes boards and within their guidelines), don't have any place in the boards. If you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, don't say anything at all.
You're provided a link to the discord to discuss this with us if you'd like to. I'm not sure why you, instead, went to advertise your rudeness towards other posters on the boards.
