can someone explain why people are allowed to be toxic pregame

just as long as they dodge the game?

Like, every 3-4 games, i get someone flaming someone for their champ pick, or not switching, or something, spamming "kys" and everything else, and it's all ok because they dodge the game?

Dota 2 has had a real time report feature since they started, and this really needs to be implemented.

No, none of that's okay.

When you see it, screenshot it just in case they or someone else dodges, and then submit a support ticket with the screenshot(s) and the persons summoner name. They'll move it to the correct team.

I'm not sure if Riot will ever do a real time report system, simply because there's too many issues with people assuming someone going certain summoner spells or playing an off-meta champion means they're trolling.

That's an extremely easy one. The explanation is completely simple:

they're not.

Then ignore what they say. If they dodged the game then just move on.

Because as long as a matchmade game wasn't played nothing happened. For now. If people cross the line hard its possible to report them via ticket but im not sure how effective it is.

people are assholes, every game I play I mute ALL. chat, emotes, pings. don't bother talking to people in this game, you'll want to rip your testicles out. since you mention it only happens every 3-4 games, i'm going to guess you're low elo. the lower your elo, the less people are complete assholes.

Pre-game chat without actually playing the game is simply a case of "words will never hurt me". They take a ding for leaving (which will escalate if they continually do so) and they don't negatively affect your gameplay experience. The only downside for us is we waste a bit of time and earn some frustration. The benefits outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

I always have puush open though and have used it many times when submitting tickets if I feel so obliged. Most of the time I'm just relieved they dodge and lose lp lol.
