No one here can verify my claim. I could falsify screenshot, fake evidence, and only to get you harassed for nothing by complete strangers. Doesn't sound fun, does it?

but it is precisely that it doesn't do anything positive to the op or to the victim that the rule is in place.

People just need to let the system do its work and not let the court of social opinion do its work.

Because of witch hunts. Imagine someone posts your name on the boards in a negative way. It would be hard to deal with.
