Instead of blaming Riot for your lack of self control/inability to mute problem people.... maybe you should realize that maybe.... just maybe.... you are at fault and need to straighten up.

I started back at Yorick's original release (late season 1, 2011) and I haven't gotten any kind of punishment yet. I got a warning at some point in season 2, but that's about it. It's not like I don't talk in game either, and I do still defend myself when someone's talking shit to me, but I don't go overboard about it.

I have a few thousand games on me too, I've been here since late S2, and I have never suffered any sort of punishment. And holy hell can I be a chatterbox.
What's my trick? Don't ever blame other people or attack other people. Yeah, give tips like 'mundo vs trynd is basically whichever one gets ahead first, that's why you should have picked nasus'. It's me complaining about the 0/4 mundo top who offered to go either mundo or nasus.
It doesn't attack him, it doesn't blame him, it informs him in a way that may help him in the future. He went on to prove me wrong and turned his game around rather than afk.
Or how about 'Vayne's 'weak' early game ladies and gents'. That's me at a point where in real life I have to try and not throw my mouse at the screen (maybe tower diving at lvl 2, and then just going 1v3 repeatedly after with stupid amounts of dmg).
Basically, you're a Human. You are probably far more intelligent than I am. I'm sure you know right from wrong. I mean if a psychopath can behave better than you, you need to reevaluate your life choices.

The fact that you have ANY chat restrictions means you're just like everyone else, you just flame people that don't report you as often.
I mean I have been here since season one I can tell you the system needs a rework that it is way to strict on a lot of players (player who has only had one punishment and that was today)
It's not the report system. It's the matchmaking system.
