I am not your babysitter. The meta puts me in the bot lane, and that's where I am going to start. Even if you do poorly, I'm going to try to help you, because that is -one- of my jobs. However, Nothing in the summoners code prevents me from going across the map to help laners who are worth my time if you become toxic. I will leave you to one v two if you pop off at the mouth.

If you flash forward to engage, do not blame me when you get Leona's zenith blade so far up your ass it knocks the back of your teeth.

My wards, abilities, and summoner spells all have cooldowns, the same as yours. So if you throw award into the lane brush to spot the enemy support, and still think its a fantastic idea to push the wave, do not blame me when Kha Zix hands you your ass on a bronze platter.

If you are off on your own, I do not have to come to babysit you. I will help the team. If there is enemy baron pressure, and you think now is an excellent time to steal our jungler's krugs, it is not my fault when the enemy zed rips you in two. I am not losing a powerful global objective because you don't know how to prioritize.

I will get kills. If you are about to die, I will snuff the enemy out to save your sorry ass. Considering you are going to flame me whether I take the kill or let you die, I would rather you be toxic and not give over gold, then be toxic and give over gold. If you are in no condition or position to take the kill, I will finish it off. Since you are going to flame me whether I take the kill, or let the enemy get away, I am going to take the kill.

The game is not about you. You are not special. The fact that the meta dictates that you need someone to hold your hand through laning phase speaks to the weak and easily abused laning phase of the class of champion you play, not your importance. I am not your slave, I am not your bitch. My engages, harass, and warding skills in the mid-game will often decide how the lane goes. So if anybody is in charge, it is me.

I do not have to build a knights vow for you. I can put the knight's vow on someone else if I do build it. I do not have to build an ardent censor, or a zekes harbinger. I do not have to use my shields and heals on you alone. If you are dead weight, I will pool resources into someone else. You have to earn your worth just like every other person on the team.

So cut the crap. Nobody cares about your precious ego. This is a team game, more so now than ever. I have the agency to go where I will, do what I will, and support who I will.

Also if I see an opportunity to roam mid or help catch out the enemy jungler, and you decide to push the lane 1v2 and die, don't flame or spam ping me because you knew I left lane temporarily to help the rest of the team. amen.

Dear Solo Q Support; It's me! your ADC.

You're not my baby sitter, i make my own decisions for better or for worse. You should try to help the team rather than just me, because that is the supports job, you ward, roam, create pressure around the map and you're tons of utility! But that doesn't mean everything that goes wrong is on me.

That being said, your role comes down to common sense. You need to back to get more wards? dont do it in vision, that makes them know im an easy target for a dive. You want to roam to mid/top? make sure the lane is in a place to do so. Hey by the way, you dont need to hide behind me, you can uhhh move up here and actually play the game. If you're running coin / spell thiefs dont take the cs unless im not in lane, you have your way of income, i have mine.

The game is not about you. You're not special, no one in this game is. Your engages, harass, and warding "skills" do help dictate how the lane goes, just as much as my csing, poking, positioning, wave management and oh guess what? we have wards too. But hey by all means, if this lane is all on you, enjoy trying to 1v2 them.

Also, you're right, you do have to "earn your worth" but simply having a vision item doesn't give it to you. You dont have to build Zekes, Knights vow, or an ardent, but if you're not building supportive items, or supporting the ones needing it, you just lost your worth to the team.

So cut the crap. Nobody cares about your precious ego. You dont need to act like an entitled child just cause you mustered up the courage to pick the role that requires the least mechanics. So go where you will, do what you will, and support who you will, but when the other teams bot lane comes and wins them the game, dont try to put that on me.

Play Taric like I do, you don't even need to focus on peeling since you naturally end up healing and shielding and peeling for your carry even if you're not paying attention to them so long as you're W'd to them. Really lets you go full aggro and have fun.

I'm happy when solo q supports leave lane. It means they aren't a total waste of xp in my lane :)
