Ranked AFK'ers

After playing my placements (8/10 wins) I got placed in bronze 4. I knew I could climb out so I played 5 or 4 games and won all of them then got promos. Won promos 2-1. Bronze 3 is worse than 4. Everytime I get to around 40 LP, I get someone who will lose lane and afk or int feed because "its over" when they die twice. Doesn't matter how early it is, or how our other players are doing, they will not listen, nor will they try to win. Every single ranked game I've lost besides maybe 1, is due to players who have afk'ed on my team, or just endlessly split pushed without vision and wouldn't listen to pings or try to work with the team. The mindset of these players that because they aren't doing well the team should lose is atrocious, and it is true that ELO hell is real. Most of the games I've lost I've done very well in, had great early games or held out to scale (I play GP a lot). People who aren't in bronze that say ELO hell isn't real and that its your fault you lose don't understand. There are some games where other players make the game impossible to win, and it happens a lot more in bronze. I know what anecdotal evidence is, but when there are tons of players out there who share the same thoughts as me, it doesn't affect the argument. Its my belief there should be heavier punishments for afk'ing during ranked. I know it will be difficult because some people get DC'ed and it isn't their fault, which is why I mean players who exit the game on purpose. My idea is to put a heavier LP loss if you afk during a game and your team loses, or your team loses less LP but you lose the same as a regular loss.
