It's not worth it

I got a 14 day ban yesterday for saying things like "kys" to a friend of mine because I was unable to voice comm at that moment; and due to the fact that we lost the game, players on our team reported me for offensive language probably out of frustration. My friend obviously was shocked because he knew that I didn't mean any of the words I said towards him but the fact that I said them in chat, in game, caused me to have that ban (even if it's my first ban, I got a 14 day ban). It doesn't matter the situation of the game, or how you're feeling, even if it's just your friend you're fooling around with, people will find a reason to report you to get you banned out of frustration, anger, etc so don't give them that reason; always be positive and try your best to keep your emotions out of the game chat even if it's just towards your friends.

because that chat box belong to 5 (or 10 if you go All Chat) people, not just privately between you and your friend. What you said in the chat to your friend, other people have to read it too (it's called public space). Win or lose, I would have reported you because I don't know you or your friend and I find what you said unacceptable (don't try to redirect the blame to the loss game).

Did you know that you can privately chat with your friend during game even if you are in the same game by using the command "/msg username message" and "/r message" after your friend reply at least once???
