Why? Because people blame other people for their mistakes. That's about the 90% truth. The other 10% is the fact that most people don't even listen, THINK you are offending them or QUESTIONING their insane doublift-like tactics, and get butthurt, flame you and report you when in reality you just wanted to help them...
Truth is, I'm gold. I queue with and play against high elos (diamond occasional master tiers, etc) I watch professionals, take notes, I shot call... etc. So I know my shit. I know my builds, counters, team comps. So if i see an AD mid fizz, I would most likely say "hey, the fizz AD ratios got nerfed hard, AP might be the way to go". The fizz presumes to yell at me, calling me a fucking loser bronze kid who should go shoot himself and drink bleach. When all I said was "AP is better at the moment for you." Then I am seen as the bad guy for being upset at the horrid reaction I got, and i'm "salty".
Why? I dont know, people have bad days. They just got dumped by their significant other... KINDRED WAS RELEASED. You know, it could be anything. A lot of the times, some people just are better than others and its not that we are "FLAUNTING" or just "SHUNNING WOOD 1 NOOBS" We just try to offer advice, which people like presumably yourself, take as "offensive" and then convince 9 players to report us for. In which case, I'd be very pissed at you.
If someone ACTUALLY is "salty" they will open the chat and if you die, flame you. Call you terrible, PVC 5, wood 12, etc. But a lot, if not most of the time it's not salt. It is just built up personal anger, or just patterns from previous games.
i.e. I had a mid lane AD fizz... we lost he went 0 -18 to talon.
The NEXT game, I asked "just wondering if you were going ap or ad fizz?"
fizz: "fuck you, I do what I want, bronze-ass loser, were you boosted to gold? lmao kill yourself, ur bad kid" He then proceeds to build AD and die. to a zed 10 times.
Then i get reported for being "salty".
