@Riotlyte - Statement on your "battle against toxicity" yet REFUSING to speak out against

Chinese censorship, human rights abuses and penalizing of the LGBTQ communities. Guess Riot, and RiotLyte view swear words ABOVE the systematic persecution of an entire peoples and minority groups. We've seen HUNDREDS of companies refusing to travel to or do business with US states that prosecute minorites, why are you and your "behavioral police" so silent on these issues? Guess you can reward them for their AMAZING behavior by hosting an international eSports competition.

This doesn't sound like it has anything to do with LoL. I'd suggest posting it over on GD.

I don't even understand this post.

So, what do you suggest Riot, and Lyte in particular, do about these issues? You've identified things you indicate as problems. How do you solve them?

Is this the section to ask about behavior or not?

I believe the whole subject should not be addressed in anyway on the boards, unless rule changes have been made. I make no statement either way on the OP opinion, Yet I resent the way some people say to take it to GD !

Either allow statements, or disallow them Don't ditch it on another section, when this is the place to ask the questions of right or wrong !

Please, excuse me if I am mistaken.

Is This the section to Ask questions? If we agree or disagree, I ask again Is this the section to Ask the Questions ?

If Riot feels the 'opening statement' should Not be asked or is some way inappropriate Then someone should say this, if not then someone should answer and not conflict the sections of this board.

Guidelines are on the left.

I respect you DTN ...I do not respect that you just told someone to take it to GD

I didn't "tell him to take it to GD". I suggested a more appropriate board for him to place this so it's not at risk of being deleted by the mods and him being confused as to why. What confuses me is why you would be against that.

Simple answer is this is where people come to get answer that may help them understand and correct behavior :) People don't go to GD to get instructions on how to deal with situations, as I'm sure you know. Don't take offence, please.

You confuse me for someone who is all in on any subject, I'm being objective! I will Not get into this here on a public board, but you know what I mean. With due respect, K

I am seriously unsure as what you're actual problem is with Riot.

Is it that you want them to let you complain on forums pre-level-30? The reason they do that is, sadly, because players that were banned were making lvl 1 accounts to harass people. It's not really Riot's fault so much as it is the toxic toolbags that got themselves banneds' fault. That was done to protect the community at large.

Is it that you want Riot to ban people who used hate speech with greater frequency? They do that. Most ban provisions exists on a basis called 'Endemic or Egregious' meaning either the problem is so ingrained (Endemic) in the player that they're spewing toxicity with every other in-game chat, or the problem is so severe (Egregious) that a single utterance is enough to draw Riot's Sauron-like eye, which the case with hate speech. It's why they have a specific tag for it in the reporting system, or did you miss that?

They're not silent, man, you're just not listening.

Not exactly what I expected given the title.

Yeesh.

I... I really don't understand why this is important. Or what, in particular, you're referencing? I'd honestly like to know what you're talking about.
