Reporting Toxic, Abusive Players Does Nothing Anymore, Huh?

Honestly, does anyone else feel the same?

Let me set the stage for ya’s.

I played a game last night, in normal draft (I know, dumb idea) and at first things were going well. I tried saving my jungler who had got caught in river by my laner and their jungle. I got a double but he died though he didn’t seem to triggered by it. Fast forward to me roaming to the enemy jungle to, yet again, help my jungler who was attempting to steal the Aurelian sol jungle’s blue (who is of course near death while I’m a level 6 Diana; yummy). Yi goes to get the blue and I obviously am going to ult the Aurelion. Just as I kill him, Yi flashes from the blue buff to attempt to kill him. I’m thinking, ok if I knew he wanted that kill I wouldn’t have w’d as I e’d him. But of course now Yi is agitated and proceeds to tell me “I’m not helping you anymore” as if I’ve needed the help all game. Fast forward again to me roaming to the enemy jungle while Yi is taking the mountain drake. I see aurelion at chickens, pretty low again, so I think “eh, fuck it, I’ll send him to his fountain. All the while Yi spam pinging the dragon (objectives are important I know, but he clearly was able to solo since the other lanes were preoccupied).

Now this is where it gets wild y’all (as if Aurelion Sol jungle wasn’t wild enough).

After soloing the dragon, Yi proceeds to get pissy with me for not helping him. I said “you clearly were able to solo alone.” To which this guys response.

This guys response was....

“I had to smite!”

.........

My dude. You mean to tell me. That you had to use. A summoner spell that is required to secure objectives in the jungle? That. Is something I’ve never heard of.

Then of course you get the typical response. “Muted you whore.”

Then he goes on to tell the enemy team I’ve ks’d him all game and then the enemy team starts calling me out calling me a whore and a skank, etc etc etc. (yeah they were only trying to tilt me, I ignored it.)

Any who, long story short. How is that not ATLEAST chat restrict worthy? 14 day suspension? Honestly, I get this kinda stuff all the time, and personally I do not think it’s fair on the female community.
I. Freaking love this game. But why is it the community’s voice never heard when you report toxicity? I’ve reported people telling them to “kys”, people calling their teammates “mentally challenged” and plenty of other things. The mute button is great. I get it. But why should we have to mute people that could’ve been restricted in the first place.

Long post, I know, I just want to hear your all’s opinions on the matter.

Didn’t there used to be a like a tribunal thing where actual players decided on reports or something like that? Idk, I just got back into playing at like s6 I think.
