Crashing due to 3rd party client

UPDATE Talked more with Rito Supp (both through support tickets and Twitter even) and apparently the issue seems to be resolved. I’ll hop on later tonight and give it a go (I’ll risk getting the leaver buster for you guys, it’s only Norms after all LOL) and check back with everyone. Fingers crossed!

It’s happened twice now tonight. I’ll post a photo of the message I received. I enabled league to be allowed through firewall, and I’m almost 100% sure I don’t have any 3rd party apps open. I wound up being marked as a leaver for the second game, which wound up giving me a D- (not a big deal, but like...I did way better than that. Not great, but I went 10/1 with like 160 cs I think. Again not relevant, just super tilted by that. Thanks rito)

Anyway, just want to know if anyone else has been having this issue tonight, or if there’s any solutions.

I've been having difficulty with this error recently too. After a little research, it is a server side issue. You do not have anything wrong with third-party apps. Riot was notified of these crashes a couple days ago and they apparently sent out a fix to the servers on the 11th or so, but they still seem to be happening. Using the HRT does not fix the issue in both reinstalling or repatching. I recommend just notifying Riot Support that the HRT does not fix the issue. From what I can tell, the error occurs after the 30 minute mark, and after reconnecting it crashes ~20 seconds after. I'll run some tests to confirm, but playing ARAMs are probably your best bet right now.

My game crashes around 30-32 min in game and after I reconect starts happening every 5 min.I tried to reinstal my game repair client and even reinstal windows and still have same problem.Lost my last 4 ranked games coz of that.This is the msg I get when it crashes:

“A critical error has occurred and the process must be terminated. This is usually do to the result of incompatible 3rd party software being installed on your machine. Please disable any overlay, streaming, or experience ‘enhancment’ software. Additionally, you may need to whitelist this application with your security software.”

Same thing happened to me 2 months ago but they fixed it in the following patch and since then it was all good but today i just got it at the 32 min again randomly is the crash back at anyone else too?

I have also had this happen and it is sooo frustrating. I sent a ticket to the support team and it was fixed for about 2 weeks. Started happening again today...

same me too.It keeps disconnecting me at about 20 mins and after.I also run the trubleshooter of the client,scanned for viruses but it still didnt work

Yeah, it happened to me last night while I was playing as Vel'Koz. I had a "Critical Error has occurred and the process must be terminated." popup happen 5 x in a ranked game. Has never happened to me ever before and we were just about to win when it started to happen. Wasn't able to last more than 2 minutes in game after it started. Team was really P'd at me even though it was beyond my control. (We ended up losing)

Super discouraging when you lose because of something you can't control. Literally, the only thing I have on my computer is Steam. I think I'm just going to stay away from League for a bit, until it's fixed.

Glad it's not just me. Been doing the same for me and it's making the game completel unplayable. worked fine till yesterday at 4:18 i got my first one...and every 3-4 minutes it'll do again yeap...not playing cause i can't

i am also having this happen to me it sadly making the game unplayable since i mainly play ranked it already happen 3 times which it lost the game for me 2 times despite efforts to repair the issue i even re downloaded the game still experiencing it [sg-ahri-1]

So it happened again but i think it was my solution center popping up and running scan. And when i reconnected it didnt kick me again and the game went another 15 min just thot id let it be known

Please help, this is so annoying. It only happens about 25-30 minutes into a game.
