Is there actually anything to do in this situation?

When you are in solo que, and you get paired with a trio who won't ff or go for objectives, but just wants to wave clear at nexus so they can keep people in the game as long as possible, is there anything you can actually do about it?

If you afk, you get banned. If you say something, you get reported. If you try to fight and die they tell the other team you are inting.

Please don't say "try to win" because we would win fights and the other two of us would go to objectives but the three of them just based and went back to wave clearing every single time.

Report them and move on. If they are 'wave clearing' at nexus, it means there are super minions pushing into your base. The system can't possibly tell the difference between someone "not want wanting to take objectives" vs "oh I need to defend my nexus vs an enemy backdoor push."

You understand that their false reports won't do anything to you and go fight the enemy and attempt to win.

First things first: as long as you're not displaying poor behavior then they can report you all you want and you won't get in trouble since reports just flag a game for review.

Now to answer your question if they're just wave-clearing then I fail to see what the issue is, as theoretically you should be able to go to the lanes they're not in to try to end the game that way. That aside though you could always try to improve your individual skill at an aspect you're lagging behind in.
