All these kids using it, it is really annoying. And before commenting "LMAO SKRUB GROW BALLS" or "LMAO GROW A SPINE YOU KID" just think about how annoying it is when you and another person are fighting the same enemy, but your auto attack kills the enemy and that goddamn ally says "ks noob". Also I know I can mute them but it's still tilting when I look at the chat and see "ks" before it disappears from other messages.
There's a point where you just laugh at them instead of getting riled up. Tell them "you mean Kill Secured" and just ignore or mute them.
Just reply back, "I agree, Kill secured".
But in all seriousness, if you feel like someone did something reportable, report them. Riot can't preemptively ban players before they show annoying behavior.
Though as a tip for the game, if there's a low health enemy that has no hope of escape nor hope of killing any teammates, it's generally a good idea to let someone on your team that scales well with items kill them. Note, I am not saying that this was the situation that you experienced.
If you feel like killing the enemy quickly was the best option, mentally dismiss their opinion on "kill steal", it's just the ramblings of someone who's salty.
Ignore it. It isn't offensive, and it'll only get a rise out of them if you take offense at such an innane statement. They're clearly tilting, and if you make a fuss about it, it gets worse. I just say nothing and go on, and generally it all disappates.
In all fairness, it really depends on the situation. If you're Blitzcrank and your ADC is Vayne, if the enemy has low 300 health and Vayne has 2/3 silver bolts procd and tumbles, then as her AA is flying through the air you use your ult... you're an asshole and should be banned yourself.
On the contrary, same situation, if a low health enemy is running from Blitz/Vayne and you, the jungler Xin, come stop the escape, then screw that noob Blitz/Vayne combo that couldn't secure the kill.
Dude what.
If you think KS should be punishable you must be rly soft man, next thing you know ill get banned for even playing with you IN YOUR GAME, grow some balls plz you'll need them in your life
There is a very easy solution for this problem:
If you got a kill(steal) instead of an assist: "same gold for the team". If you got a kill instead of nothing at all: "more gold for the team".
Both are guaranteed to make them flip out and start smashing their face against their keyboard, and typically stops further salting in chat, except in the most pathetically stupid cases.
In some rare situations an ADC who got KSed by their support will simply ragequit or sit at base; this is a case of "nothing of value was lost", because someone this unstable and bratty would feed or ragequit before 20 no matter what you try do to make them happy.
Mute, Laugh it off and move on.
