Who will reach honor level 5?

In their FAQ, riot states, "Just show up, don't be an asshole, and you'll rise over the coming weeks and months."

Riot says "you'll rise," but doesn't specify how much you'll rise by the end of the season. If I play **regularly **and (consistently) honorably, am I guaranteed to reach honor level 5?

Or is level 5 reserved for "players who are highly honored in specific games or over the course of a season"; i.e. are there special requirements to reach honor level 5?

Cause they deserve it most of the time. I don't see a fiora top lane setting up clutch plays and not being toxic

Actually because we're not the ones that are 10/2/12 we don't get the honor. The ADC or the APC we helped carry to the victory screen usually gets the honor. The ADC/APC usually honors us and that's about it. It sucks really. If you're not getting all the kills you're not shit in this game.

I'm still waiting to find someone who has reached honor level 3. No one on my friends list has it and it has been out for 3+ weeks.

I purposely don't honor anyone just to make sure team doesn't get honor bonus after game. Also, I don't care about your honor system. You sck RITO.

It would be a lot better if you could see the end of game scoreboard when you were deciding who to honor. I have no idea who silently carried the game if they're not boasting about it, and those are the people I'd want to honor.

Honor isn't about who carried the game, when do people realize this. The only honor category that comes closy is "shotcalling", and that doesn't even show up on the scoreboard.

Honestly it seems like some kinda unthoughtful unfinished mix of both. as of right now, honor 3 is already a myth in itself, no Player in any live servers on the globe is known to have it. Riot has started with honor 2 as the highest, setting limiters and unknown requirements to rise up. Honestly, when i saw the honor system in the PBE i was excited. But then it came live and i was majorly dissappointed. First, you have a Progress-system with no way to view your actual Progress second, barely half the content is officially unlocked third, the Prices and drawbacks are unknown aswell. and fourth, you have no idea how heavily punishments will affect your honor Level.

Honestly, riot just like always had a great idea, but fucked up in their attempt to realize it.

If you notice when the entire team honors someone you get a boost in honor for everyone.... so rally your team together. Being the silent protagonist probably won't cut it. You may get honored but you won't get everyone to honor each other. Giving more honor might help out too, instead of honor hogging for competitive reasons, like getting honored but refusing to honor because "Why should I honor you if it doesn't help me advance"

I'm still honor level 2 and it will stay like that for a while. I play mostly ranked and I'm not a carry kind of person, so I chug through and get an honor now and again. In aram matches I get honored A LOT because I tell jokes to my team and have a blast doing it. It really depends on the game mode and what quality of yourself you'd like to accentuate as honorable. My carry skills are not honorable, but my jokes and friendly demeanor (outside of a ranked environment) are. In ranked I'm a bit edgy, but it's mostly because I'm mad at myself for not being a carry kind of person.

It would be reassuring to get confirmation from Riot that you don't have to "try hard" to reach honor level 5 before the season ends; I think that's what makes it feel like a blind grind.

I don't see myself in honour bracket 5 before November, no. Got ~120 honours of various kinds so far (still some way to go to my old 2000+ honours), but not even level 3 yet. So far I've gotten honoured in just about all my games. And I guess we at this point can wave goodbye to the "carepackage" for honourable members of old, considering we haven't heard anything on that some time now. I actually took pride in my green Teamwork ribbon.

There are 2 things I'd like to see with the new honour system: -A message saying "You're halfway there, keep it up!" (or similar) between levels, as has been suggested already.

-An assurance that it is possible to get to level 5 this season. Whether they've sped up the process or something, I don't care, but since they released it mid-season, and with an already stated reset between seasons, I expect it would be possible to see level 5 before the reset happens.

About a week after posting this, I got honor level 3! In light of this and my actions on league, I would change my poll vote to "Show up and don't be an ass".

Tbh, the honor system isnt about how honorable you are. Its kinda random/dependant on how many games you play a day. It does NOT take the in-game chat into consideration and the post-game honors have little to no value. All it takes to level up is playing a ton of games every day and having 50%+ win rate and its still pretty random. So yeah, rito fucked up on this one big time.

Also have level 5 honor myself. It's not as rare as people make it out. Seriously, just play moderately well and don't be an ass. You will get it sooner or later.

I've had honor level 5 for about three weeks now, not sure how I got it so quick since i didn't get honored that much. But I think reports really matter.
