@Riot a couple of questions if anyone has a moment

1: Can I submit a ticket in cases of extreme abuse to help the case against a player?

2: Has there been any talk of increasing punishments for players who intentionally ruin games?

I feel like I have a disgustingly high rate of reporting people, and only a fraction of the time I receive that little message telling me someone has been punished. I do not report other players unless I genuinely feel they have ruined the game for someone else in the game.

3: Do my reports hold no weight/do I report too much?

4: If my reports are accurate, why are people not being punished? If they are not accurate, do we no longer care about the "summoners code" or sportsmanship?

I do not like playing with jerks.

  1. Yes, if you feel it's absolutely necessary. If it is something reportable through the post-game reporting, please try to just use that though; the system improves by you reporting their behavior.

  2. It's extremely difficult to determine whether a player is intentionally ruining the game if they are trying to hide it, or are doing so sparingly. Even with a manual review it can be impossible to tell the difference between that and just a bad game, but reporting it helps them create a case against the player so a trend of that behavior can be identified. If you don't receive the punishment notification don't take that as your report didn't do any good; you only receive that when yours is the last straw with results in the punishment. As long as you are reporting accurately they will contribute.

  3. You should submit a ticket and ask about that. I'm unsure if they'll be able to give you the info you want though.

  4. See number 2, second paragraph.

  1. No. I already did that and Riot Support said they can do nothing about it, all I can do is report them after game
  2. No, because Riot doesn't care about toxic players ruining the game as long as they keep buying RP.
  3. Yup, those are pretty much worthless.
  4. No, we don't care about summoner's code.

You can literally log into the game, buy 6 tears and keep running down mid, say in chat "omg I have lags and I can't move", upload those games on youtube with some funny title like "That's why I int" and just wait for money to start flowing to your pocket. Riot won't hurt you for that.
