Dude I really have ZERO FUCKING CLUE how the chat restrict system works

On one of my alternate accounts, I played with a jungle main three games, three games guys (In Diamond you meet the same people every game)

EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. HE FLAMED and it wasnt low key flame, they guys was doing all the following:

  1. Racist towards polish people
  2. Supporting the 'dark german past', Im not specifying in fear of board mods, and wishing they 'killed more x'
  3. Saying death threats to the entire enemy team along the lines of 'I hired a hitman your gonna die etc etc'
  4. Wishing death to all including wishing they contract bad diseases
  5. Telling them to end their lives through pretty gruesome ways
  6. All around gruesome details of how he wants to beat them

Now, for the first two games I didnt really give a shit, I kinda just read the stuff and went 'this guy must be trolling lmao' but the enemy threatened to report him and did so. On the third game I reported him, bare in mind he did this every game so the fact the he played three continuous games is pretty amazing.

This was two days ago, I just checked his op.gg and he is still playing. Im not one to give much of a shit about flame but how? How is he not banned? Ive been banned for telling people to go fuck themselves what is this system xD By far the most toxic individual I have met in 3 years of this game

(For all the white knights, no, my alt acc is not banned my honour level is 2 checkpoint 1, chill pls, I just found it confusing as fuck since he was being VERY VERY TOXIC and from my experience the only aspect of the report system that works is the chat system)

The dude could have been chat restricted and still be playing.

It is an automated system that detects key words. A human won't review the chat logs unless a Support Ticket is used by the reporter or reportee. The automated system will let many words or phrases pass unless it is used more than once. The automated system will also look for people who type too much in volume. So it is possible to get banned without breaking any rules just from typing too much.

You need to submit a ticket, OP. Bot will never escalate a punishment unless he posts a straight up 'ban worthy' word or phrase. And no, racist slurs, context of German/Jew stuff, death threats, telling others to kill themselves in gruesome ways etc. require a manual review to escalate the punishment to the right level.

THE SYSTEM IS AUTOMATED?? Riot has like 20 employees and 100 million accounts?

it goes 10 game chat restrict 25 game chat restrict 14 week ban perma ban. if you dont do get in trouble for awhile I think it starts rolling back or resetiing cuz ive had the 14 week ban twice before but spaes out like 8 months +. Its automated so it doesnnt matter what u do once u get enough reports it scans your chat and u get the next punishment. so hes probably on 25 game chat restrict next is 2 week.

Had same thing just not with death threats. yet i was the one who got banned while they had been throwing threats at me and name calling and racist slurs but i said STFU and bitch but apparently, for telling the other team he said "kys" "i am going to kill you" i get banned for "ZT" which they say was telling the other team to report him on waht he told me like RIOT wtf man??? does your reporting system not work or something? and of course they only got a small punishment of 2 week
