there should be an option to mute peoples pings

i joined a game and i got mid and that made this guy mad so the whole game he spam pinged me with enemies missing and other shit, it was really annoying and he had a friend who also was spam pinging me and the only way i could solve this problem was to turn off my volume. there should be a mute pings button because muting someone doesnt do it. And when i mean the whole game, I mean the WHOLE game, there was not a moment that he or his friend were not spam pinging me, it was just endless volleys of pings for 30 minutes non stop. i reported them after but nothing will happen as usual.
