Title says it all. I got a 14 day ban, and when I checked why, it pulled up the exact same game I got chat restricted for yesterday. I don't understand?

Did the game involves zero-tolerance language, such as hate speech or encouragement to self harm? I believe the two systems are not directly connected, and so it's possible that one may have punished you before the other found worse behavior.
I would suggest sending a ticket to player support though, who would be able to help you better understand what happened and whether or not they can help you resolve the situation.
Would you care to post chat logs? Perhaps something in it warranted an escalation in punishment.
your screwed man. if you even submit a ticket the support is so one sided it hurts. I got a ban for saying someone is childish (basic recap.) him and his buddy reported me. don't worry neither of them were effected for behavior on league that shouldn't be acceptable. Such as racism and telling to commit self harm. They still played. I tracked them the whole time while I was banned. I asked support saying that is an unjustified ban. They looked at it saying that telling them that they need to grow up or anything in that matter is disrespectful and not seeing the other half of the story.
Riot bases their ban of HALF a story. It doesn't matter what the others did. Riot doesn't give a flyin f*** about the game in question as a whole. if they did they would review the WHOLE chat log in game instead of just one. But a bot runs it. so a group of 4 can ban the other guy just cause he said "report X" because that also is harassment and is bannable. for just saying report.
I suggest just dealing with it. Get some tilt control. let it be a lesson really. if your that pissed at a game. mute everyone and don't type. just get tilt control.

you clearly flamed HARD and used some awful language, you hit the automatic trigger for a chat ban, you also hit trigger words for a manual review (aka you were being really really really toxic)
they reviewed it, realized you were spewing garbage and upgraded your punishment. not that complicated
there's a reason you're not posting your chat logs
I would recommend contacting support, see if you can get an explanation or get it sorted out.
did it show you OTHER games aswell?
