When the honor system came out, I had climbed to lvl 3 rather quickly. However, I had a bad falling out one game. Got blamed and turned around and got salty back. Dropped down to lvl 1 honor and I've reformed since by just ignoring hostile comments and not saying them myself. I've been honored every game consistently, but I've yet to reach lvl 2 honor. Am I merely stuck at lvl 1, or is it just really hard to climb back up?
I went through the same thing as you op. Honor 4, and a single toxic duo got far enough under my skin for me to flame them. Immediate chat restriction, honor 1 from a single game. Tried grinding back up the honor but it doesn't seem like even 50 honor is enough to get you to level 2. Feels bad thinking of all the honorables I got after game prior just to have it all lost over a single game. Good news is when season ends your honor resets back at 2, which will likely happen before you grind it back up to honor 2. I actually level accounts between rankings so I just started a new one and already on honor 3.

You're not stuck! It just admittingly takes a bit to work yourself back up, especially since you have to have consistently good behavior to make your account go back into good standing before it can really start climbing.
