Is it even worth banning anymore?

so I have had to grind to get gold and to my better judgment I lost my cool at one of my supports that ended the 21 minute game with a score of 2-13-2 told me "oh I love flame i have all the screenshots I need, enjoy the ban" and got chat restricted, yes I do regret it cause honestly that player wasn't worth it. I hate losing my cool and now I don't get the benefits of reaching my goal. looking up their history I see that they have a very good skill standing and game knowledge but all of a sudden lacked any intellect. after thinking about it enough I came across the thought that riot does not review the gameplay footage to actually see that the person who got support only to flash under turret to give FB was more than a dive gone bad but rather a troll who did this more than once to help the enemy team snowball out of control.

Now honestly why is it that despite anger any mentioning of them feeding is actually worse than them feeding, cause nowadays words are very hurtful and pissing people off intentionally does not warrant any negative repercussions cause the one feeding is oh so very sensitive and feels joy in their life that they got a reaction from another person.

I guess I am posting this to kind of get it off my chest that I think this games report and ban system for feeding is a joke (to be put simply). I know we have all been there where we ask everyone to report the feeder but nothing happens especially when they themselves even curse and slander. I wish riot took this as an important issue cause normals are for fun and ranked is for testing skills and competitive gameplay I have no idea why it is backward but I wish they actually provided information on how it works if it does at all cause honestly they only ban ppl who lose their cool but not the people who provoke it game after game. FIX YOUR SHIT RIOT.

Unless they're actually inting, just playing poorly isn't punishable, and flaming them for feeding isn't going to help anything. They're likely already tilted and feeling bad, all flaming them for it is going to do is make things worse.

Feeding alone isn't a punishable offense.

Intentional feeding is.

Keyword is intention.

it's not about being toxic in chat being "worse" than inting or trolling

they are both punishable offences

the difference is that checking a chat for toxicity comes much easyer than checking an entire game for signs of inting, particularly since it's mostly automated right now. Riot simply doesn't have the man power in order to manually verify every single "inting" report purely because of the sheer size of the community and number of reports coming in. That doesn't mean they get away with it. far from it. but it just takes longer to detect than chat related offences.

Dieing over and over in and of itself isn't punishable. Some players use a strategy that causes them to die a lot in their attempt at victory. Some are just having a bad game. Some just have less of a skill level than those they are facing. You are punished more severely because you are shaming them, and shaming people who are playing their best to win is a mean thing to do.
