Honor Up, Behavior Down. (Update)

I made a post a while ago regarding the correlation between my behavior in-game and my honor progress. To summarize, I started acting more toxic than usual, mostly out of frustration and pure disregard for the game: I stopped giving a shit. (something I'm sure many players have experienced). I don't know if its coincidence or not, but my honor progress has raised significantly faster since I started acting this way. Since my last post I earned my level 1 honor ranking again, and honestly I've been a prick... I obviously don't mean any of the shit I say, its more of an experiment at this point, but it's interesting and kinda silly. I lost my first, main account due to toxicity a while back... again, I kinda just let the community infect me and went with it, stopped caring about how I treated other players. Anyways, the point is that it took me FOREVER to earn any honor back, while I actually tried to be a good guy, overly good almost. Now that I act like a piece of shit my honor goes through the roof... It's pretty wild haha.

Or alternatively, fringe case. This isn’t behaviour that should be advocated for. If you’re being a poor teammate and worsening the social experience of the game, then you should take it upon yourself to improve your behaviour. Riot’s honour system isn’t always going to work, and that’s to be expected. But when it fails, you should be aiming to be a better teammate on your own, rather than with the disposition that you deserve the rewards that were incorrectly attributed.
