Did you know.... ? Time to fine-tune the "Block" feature!

I don't know about you but I just realized "block"ing someone does not prevent me from seeing these people in the future games. Yet it only does _- Removes them from your friends list

  • Blocks friend requests from them
  • Blocks any future conversations_

When I "block" someone, my intention mostly is... not to play with these people. Please. We need some "options, such as

  • Adios, NEVER again! (I will never be in a game with this player)
  • Not allowed in my team! (I may see this person in the enemy team but not in my team)
  • Ban this player for this season

or something like that?

This is intentional and will not change.

Blocking someone is not intended for you to be able to edit the matchmaking pool you are a part of. Every single player in League is given the exact same matchmaking algorithm and all are matchmade from exactly the same pool of players.

Blizzard tried that in Overwatch. It was a failure.

Why not? For ex: OVERWATCH IS FINALLY LETTING YOU BLOCK TOXIC JERKS FROM YOUR MATCHES https://massivelyop.com/2018/03/26/overwatch-is-finally-letting-you-block-toxic-jerks-from-your-matches/

"...“Players can choose to ‘Avoid as Teammate’ with a dropdown menu in the Career Profile,” Blizzard writes. “The addition of the ‘Avoid as Teammate’ option gives players the ability to craft their online gameplay experience. "

The one problem I see with that is that some dumbasses will abuse that in challenger (where there's a relatively very low amount of people being put together) and a challenger player can block everyone they get into games with and start playing in low master-diamond games which would be very unhealthy.
