I want to play, but it looks like not much has changed

Today I was wondering if LoL has improved in regards to toxicity and unbalanced matches. After reading some things in the forum, it seems nothing has changed. It makes me sad, because I have had some amazing and positive moments in LoL that no other game has given me. I want to experience more of those moments, but most matches do not provide them. I have not played for months, and I have not played many consecutive games for about a year. Sometimes LoL pops up in my news feed and I wonder if it has changed.

I am not the only one to leave for these reasons. None of my friends play LoL anymore. They will not even consider trying it out again because of their low faith in things changing. Do not take this post as ranting, whining, or complaining. I am just observing the situation, and really this is a sort of final plea to Riot that they should try harder at creating a consistently enjoyable game atmosphere.

Don't really take the boards as the best place for examining toxicity. People only complain when they are victims of toxicity or unbalanced matches, or whine when they are banned for toxicity. So it's naturally the most concentrated place.

As a huge community like league, no matter how small the percentage is, the amount of complaints isn't gonna be small.

It's true LoL is much less fun when your friends have moved on, same for me. I have not played as much as I did before.

If you want to experience LoL once again, try a few matches in normal, see if it clicks.

Nothing has changed and nothing will ever change.

Riot and the RBSC(Rito Butt Slappers Club) here will utter the phrase "it could be abused" anytime any solution is offered to fixing the behavior system. This completely ignores the fact that the system is already abused.

So nothing is ever going to get fixed, 1 person will continue to be able to ruin the game for 9 other people and players will keep on getting abused.

At the end of the day, Riot is the MVP of toxicity.

Yep, played my first two games in a month tonight, First one was a duo who lost two lanes and then started taking 5 minute fountain naps till the game ended.

Second was all friendly people, acutal 5v5 and some banter.

No new systems, no tribunal still. Just a cluttered new client that they will be bug fixing for the next year.

High Toxicity in lol will stay unchanged.

ehh .. the subboards here is pretty much filled with salty people that got punished by the system.

Depending on when you left, they have made large strides when it comes to improving behavior.

the moment I started to ignore toxic chat is the moment I realized that if you don't give into the toxic responses is when people usually don't pursue it. and I try to nicely tell people to stop ripping on someone, I noticed this helps a lot and stops gangups on players.

so far games have been enjoyable (and im easily triggered)
