''X guy is scripting''

This is why I hate some people in the community sometimes. When it's not the teammates, the internet or the op champs, it's because of scripts.

So I just lost a ranked game, here what's happened:

Got first pick, picked Thresh because why not. Our mid laner asked to be ADC and the guy who got ADC let him have it. The enemy team had no adc, it was a Yasuo and Rakan bot lane (aka, whack-a-mole on hard mode).

We go in the loading screen, and I realized that our Karthus has fervor of battle... great and since he's an adc main, he probably forgot to change his runes too... double great.

Luckily, we got first blood because Yasuo has no escape but then 10 minutes later, everything went to shit: Lee tried to gank mid (despite being told NOT to) WITHOUT Karthus, and died to Xerath. Then Xerath killed Karthus some time later.

This Xerath snowballed out of control, we were doing even at bot lane but we lost lane because you know... 4 man ganks and Xerath got more kills. But unfortunately, a Xerath with a fully stack Mejai and Luden is very scary.

Then at some point, both Lee AND Karthus started to call Xerath a ''scripter'' because of this:

Come on, people. That was not even close to be a script, he just threw his e after Lee uses his w on a ward. Everyone and their mother know that if Lee sin is flanking you, it's because he wants to kick you towards his team. I even tried to calm my team (Jayce was on my side and Ez said nothing), but Lee sin even treated Xerath to post this game on reddit.

I never knew which script my mid and jungler thought he had. I think they thought it was the one who predict your movements (despite the fact that Xerath misses like so many q). And a guy with stacked Mejai and Luden is going to be fast so no dodge script.

Stop it please, I know Xerath is used by some scripters (like the one not too long ago) but this is fucking ridiculous. Yes, this guy has a 81 % winrate on Xerath, maybe he's a smurf or got in a massif winning streak (he's probably a smurf, he didn't have any games before S7). But you cannot accuse someone of fucking scripting when you are in lane that you don't even play most of the time and when you come with wrong masteries, runes and plays one of the most immobile mage in league of legends.

While the rest of the video was pretty clear "not scripting", I'm having a hard time imagining where Xerath had his camera to both be focused on dishing out damage ahead and to be see that Ward hop coming and instantly fire an E at him.

Rakan's reaction seems like what I'd expect for someone looking forward. Xerath's seems a bit too fast.

As a Xerath Main, I'd be suspicious of that play if it happened in my game.

"Scripting" is the new cry for those that lose in league.

Much like my days on First Person Shooter style games, anytime someone got a headshot or two people immediately accused the person of cheating. It's classic fragile ego syndrome... some people cannot accept that people are better than they are at a game, we all get outplayed.

Golden rule of life: No matter who you are and no matter what you do, someone, somewhere is better than you at it, period.

The OP clearly gets it and that's refreshing. +1 to you, sir.

As a xerath main I've been declared a scripter more than once. Most times I'm not even playing very well.

This case didn't look like scripting at all. The lee sin took 4 or 5 steps towards him after jumping the wall. Of course he would cast e.

This reminds me of my friend who got BANNED for scripting.

We think it was because he had several pop off Yi top games, And the funniest bit is. All the pop offs were because I sat in his lane early and Dyrus'd his opponents. High Fives were had after those games.

But beware people in programming classes. This might happen to you too.

he clearly saw that the ward was placed i see NO scripts in that the fuck?

Why IS xerath the go-to champion to accuse of scripting, anyways?

Sadly any xerath player is liable for being accused of scripting because most xerath players are scripters.

That Lee was a potato, he literally walked into it.

If anyone thinks this is scripting they're foolish. You see the ward drop from behind a wall with Lee Sin on their team, you have to assume the ward hop is coming next. It wasn't even a fast ward hop, Xerath had at least a full second between the dropping of the ward and when he cast his stun. I can get a skillshot out that quickly and I'm silver, though I won't hit them 100%. If he has an 81% Xerath winrate, I wouldn't consider that play crazy at all.
