Since when is "Gay" a "racial, homophobic, or sexist slur" anyways?
First, please don't repost removed content. We removed it for a reason. Reposting it opens you up to having another action taken against your account. Moderators have full access to your removal history so we don't need you repeating it here to know what was removed or why.
Second, as Kei143 stated above, context is everything in this case. You're using a word in a negative, homophobic way. Normally that type of removal is a direct 7 day suspension. Instead you were given a warning because we recognize that this wasn't an egregious use.
That being said, it was still the correct action in regards to your post and the context.

If you're referring to the person that replied/quoted you, we've removed the edit they made and if it comes back we'll remove the post. They were quoting you directly, not saying it on their own.
Your post had nothing else in it to help us determine any other potential context so it was removed under the only context we had to go with. It was literally the only thing you said and based on the OP it was the correct call.
Bottom line: It's not OK to say that on the Boards. You can argue that you're trying to say it in a different context, but if someone says that phrase, it's open to removal by Moderators until Riot tells us otherwise.

I will still follow your advice and issue a ticket regarding this issue
TrulyBland1 votesThe benefit of doubt won't really help you in this case, since it would still only leave two possibilities:
A) You were aware of how it would be interpreted and just didn't care: You're still an insensitive prick. or B) You are not aware of how a very common phrase would be interpreted: You clearly have horrible social skills and letting you continue to post is a bit like letting a blind person drive a car.
Either way you got away with a warning. Something to tell you that what you said wasn't acceptable so you know for the future.

The context you used it in is commonly used as a method to insult others through homophobic slurs.
This is a similar case to "Fuck, I missed a skill shot" and "Fuck you, land a skill shot", where the first one is an expression against oneself's incompetence and the second is a direct insult to others.

TrulyBland1 votesImagine if peopled used your name as curse/insult. Whenever something goes wrong, somebody does something stupid, somebody stubs their toe, you'd hear "That's so ShinkoMinori!".
Now tell me you wouldn't feel insulted. I wouldn't go as far as calling it straight up homophobic, but it's pretty insensitive. I get that you probably used it as a joke in that context, but then again, if you did think of it as a joke, you also know exactly what the problem is and knew that it was a risky joke.

What you did wasn't just insulting "someone", it was (in the same way as explained) insulting every homosexual, and that can definitely be considered homophobic.

For some people, they can call anything anti-Gay homophobic. Depends on your sensitivity.
However you like to define homophobia, what you said is not nice.
