What is the best course of action when a teammate locks in a totally troll pick?

For example, if you are playing ranked and a teammate locks in as Caitlin jungle or Yorick ADC, what should you do? If you leave a que like this more than once a day you get leaver busted. The only thing to do seems to be to play the game, lose (of course) and then report them at the end of the game. This is pretty intolerable and feel like there should be some kind of reporting system other than the post-game screen. What are your thoughts on this? Does this kind of thing happen to you too, and if so what do you do about it?

You actually can't report them. They're playing the intended game. Riot will not force you to follow a meta. As long as you are playing and not purposely hindering the team, you're safe. Nothing in the rule book about going a melee adc instead of a ranged one. Nothing against taking an adc into the jungle (Twitch, Kindred, Graves say hello.)

There is nothing you can do besides try and win.

Normaly I would welcome random stuff since people like Disco heat tend to break the meta like hell and still come out strong.

But if you really are that greedy for ranked wins, you can always just dodge and lose your precious LP.

You know what they say: "If you can't avoid a rape, then at least try to enjoy it". So, troll with the troll without being abusive. You will lose elo points anyways, why not make the best use out of it?

a lot of people are confused about this. there is no rule that says you have to have an adc. nothing is wrong with going caitlyn jg or yorick bot. no rule says you can only play the customary picks in the customary roles. its only a game. try to have fun with it.

You can either dodge and wait 15 minutes

Or play the game and either be really surprised or dissapointed you wasted 20-35 minutes on a game, either way it's just 1 game, out of like, hundreds

However, if everyone on your team expresses discomfort with the pick they lock it in anyways you have grounds to report then for "refusing to communicate with team" which won't always result in a penalty but it's what got the guy who made AP tryndamere banned
