Okay so essentially, I think we should change the way bans are decided just a teeny bit. For one I figure that those who like to flame should just be given chat restriction, or chat ban (Completely disabling them from typing in chat). Rather than them getting perma-banned. Now I know what you're thinking, before I continue let me just say I don't condone talking trash to anyone in any other form other than friendly competition. (Ex: Saying something along the lines of "Git Rekt Kid" after outplaying your opponent or anything along those lines, however other forms of shit talk such as "wow you fucking suck" or "uninstall after game plz" I wouldn't condone, also Hate speech is a big no no when talking shit, friendly banter joking or not, especially to riot.) Besides, those who get chat restricted/chat banned still have a form of communication through pinging. Possibly even voice chat if one chooses to post a discord link pre-game lobby etc.Now the reason I'd rather you just Chat Ban someone than perma-ban them is that they'd just make a new account and continue their endless flame-journey. I'd rather you crackdown on those who go out of their way to ruin someones game with their own game play and ban them than that. Say you get someone who ints because they're trolling, say that player does it often whenever he gets angry. Game after game if he gets mad he runs it down mid, I'd rather you focus on banning that type of person, than go out of your way to ban a flamer who will just make a new account and continue flaming. Now you may say it's the same way with griefers, if they get banned they'll just go and int in pre-30 games because they get mad in those games as well. That may be true, but to those players who are ACTUALLY new, at least they can't really tell if someone is doing it on purpose. They can tell whenever someone is calling them a "fking retarded mid" or anything along the lines of that. Anyways, that concludes what I have to say about that, on the off-chance that you see this rito I really hope you implement it, flamers ruin the game for brand new players and experienced players alike.

Why should I be punished by having to play with a player who can't chat AT ALL because that guy can't stop being toxic?

No, because Riot has tried that. It doesn't work and no players reform from it. So that's why the permaban is the best way to get rid of the flamers and toxic players. We need players use the chat for communication but don't need players using the chat for toxic reasons. So, Riot will not be changing anything, if they do, it'll be a lot more strict. Riot is doing an awesome job of cracking down on these players and keeping them from ruining the game. When they get banned, they'll have to make a new account, hit level 30, and if they're toxic by nature, then these players are just leveling up just to get banned again. Then these players will get worn out and eventually either change or quit.

Either way, we're one short of a toxic player. The community wins.

I wonder, do people read what they type and think "I wonder if someone else has had an idea similar to this" or is it "Man this is going to fix league, I am the ahead of the curve with this idea"
