Why are your chances of being banned/chat restricted completely based on how many people report you, rather than what you actually did? The amount of toxic players in this community is insane, but they go without punishment because not enough people report them. And then you have people like me who get chat restricted for complaining when somone clearly purposefully ks's me and my jg is 0/6 but still decides to come bot and steal my cs while im omw to lane, even when I specifically ask them to leave my cs alone and help mid lane, because 5 people reported me because I destroyed them botlane. I'll link chat logs after this game i'm in is over. But really, why does the ban system work like this? We need a change.

it's not. a report flags a game. If you got punished, it was because you did something punishable.

also protip: "ksing" is actually usually beneficial to you team. Rather than just get 300 gold on one champion, you get 300 gold on one and 150 on another.

It is. They don't review anything, the system looks at the game based on how many people report you, and it doesnt take into account what anyone else said to you. They need a system with actual people to review the accusations instead of automated stuff.

Well I mean, it's really not. Again, all a report does is flag a game for review. Chat logs are checked for toxicity, and punishment is given if it's deserved. There are some words and phrases that are automatically detected and punished, but that's it.

Exactly my point. I never cussed, I never said anything extremely rude, all I said was I was confused on why my team was working against me instead of with me, when i was the only one doing good. I was the only one with a positive kd and frankly our only chance at winning, and my team was working against me. That doesnt deserve a chat restriction, I was simply punished based on how many people reported me, guarantee'd. If they had an actual person looking at the report, it would have been disregarded.

Can you post the chat logs? Because the number of reports really doesn't mean much.

Refer to my most recent reply. I'll post logs later today, if you care to check them. I'm going to bed right now, just played 2 games and am tired. But yea, they may not mean much, but again, If there is a toxic player, and one person reports them, no actions are taken. If 3+ people report him, it's almost guarantee'd that action will be taken.

There is no difference between getting reported by 1 player or 9. Riot did this on purpose so that players couldn't be ganged up on and mass reported. All the reports do is flag the account for review. If there actually is something that violates the TOS then they will send out the punishment/

The point about the 150 gold is correct, but you dont need to ks to get an assist. Protip.

Pro Tip: It is more beneficial to ensure that a kill is secured rather then letting them escape with low health. And if a player is purposely trying to take kills that you would have easily secured raging at them isn't likely to help either. The best option is to consider it as a kill secured and to take advantage of an opponent being off the map.

That's not true, at all. When one person reports a toxic person, it goes un-noticed. When 3+ people report a toxic player, he is punished. That is a consistant pattern.

The ban system doesn't work like that. You get banned if your behaviour violates the TOS. Reports just flag the account for review. If you have done nothing wrong there is nothing to fear.
