Yes.

Just send a ticket showing all your past behavior with prints of racial slurs and stuff like that. You then ask to get a punishment and boom. There you go.

This is misleading. If they do this and Riot determines a punishment is necessary, it will likely be a 14 day ban. Not a chat ban. Riot does not issue permanent or long term chat restrictions outside of the instant feedback system.

They won't do it because they WANT you to flame. They want you to get banned so you make a new account. They slap you with a few chat restrictions first so they can claim they believe in reform. And dont intimidate thier playerbase into quitting

Riot tried that before, but it resulted in more AFK & intentional feeding cases instead.

As a feature so often requested, I wish Riot will at least address it. There is an option to mute people and there's an option to disable all chat, so it should be possible to mute yourself too, imo.

I mean, if you're a squishy, you shouldn't try to walk past the tank to attack the back line, for the most part. That usually means focusing the tanks.

Indeed, league generally operates on a "Hit the target thats closest/safest" that is until you get a good pick or catch, or their tanks get too chipped and need to back off. There are certainly champs that can dive around and be flashy, but most aren't mobile enough to get in and our safely on a back line.

thats the thing alot of people dont understand in lower divisions. as an adc or glasscannon mid range midlaner you cant just burst past the enemy frontline and go to the backline and aa or combo, cuz youll get killed in a matter of seconds. thats why your own team must have a frontline and someone capable to dive in the enemy backline. This bronze/silver mentality which destroys most of the games (and is a catalyst for flamers who have no idea how to play)is bull, and it shows lack of gameplay knowladge . Thats why you must understand how to build your champions in regard with what enemy champions build, especially your direct opponents. thats why in bronze and low silver youll never find a qss on adc even tho enemy team has idk, thresh, and the fighters/divers like noc lee sin build max one item of defense cuz "they can do dmg". Thats not the point. So, you should check what you know vs what you think you know first.

Riot has expressed that the ability to either voluntarily or forcibly mute yourself is not something that will be implemented, because it encourages negative activity by allowing people to use the excuse "nobody saw it". If people are just muted (i.e. can still type but nobody sees), they can rage in the chat, get angry people aren't responding, then rage more and/or switch to gameplay toxicity (inting/etc). If chat restricted, when someone uses all their messages they tend to switch to gameplay toxicity instead.

It would be nice if it would work, but it doesn't.

I don't have one I can link to here at the moment, but if you search "permanent restriction" or similar on the boards I'm sure you'll be able to find something quasi-official. My information comes from time spent reading many posts here and remembering what's said.

I was wondering about this as well when i got my 2 week ban before my permanent ban. I honestly wish that i could have been permanently chat banned because if you only give me 5-10 chats a game im going to make them about objectives and timers for objectives or summs.
