When can I gain my honor back?

I think it was May or June, from what I remember I had at least one troll on the team, I remember I had to mute them... Think it was the same old 'kys' 'phagget' bullshit... we all know the type. Long story short, they were pissed about something from the start of the game and started intentionally feeding and being rude assholes. After a really frustrating time I finally told them I was gonna chill at base, eat my lunch, and let them be assholes. I got a decent penalty, fair enough I guess it was deserved, Lost my honor, thats ok too, but I mean this was nearly 7 months ago and I still am stuck at Honor 1? I get multiple honors almost every game, try to be a positive voice when I do use the chat box (I just hide it 80% of the time), and I don't afk, troll, or flame people... Will I ever get any honor back? I support the penalty system, and think players do need to be punished, but after the better part of a year this seems a little much

you realise that the honors was launched in July right?

It's probably not that long ago that you got punished and are remembering the dates wrong.

That said, you just need to play more games, continue getting honored, contribute to team honor bonus, and not get validly reported and you should be out in no time.

You aren't going to get out of honor 0 in a reasonable amount of time, at least, not in as simple of a way you put it.

You have to "prove" you reform by being a complete suck-up basically. It's the way the previous system worked before too.

Pretend to be really nice, no matter how pissed off you get, spam GJ, GLHF, and basically be like Lux.

In addition, you get set back for every report you get, so you have to be extremely careful about what you say and what you do.

The dude is only Honor1 though, so I would assume it'll be much easier to get out of than honor0.

i never actually hit zero again, ive been honor1 since... well... whenever i got the penalty. it was in the summer, i know it.

Riot Tantram shows some good (yet common) examples of unacceptable behavior that slow down the honor progress. If anything of what the other people said applies to you, then you better change that.

Thanks for the links, I can honestly say that I'm not as bad as those, I'll admit that I use to get vengeful with trolls, but I don't think I've been an instigator, and I do my best to stay positive and keep morale up. I'd really like feedback from riot, if I am being too much of a dick id like to know :/ I get keys for good sportsmanship nearly every time I log on... I got like 40 of the things sitting around... Sorry to keep bugging you about this, I know honor isnt much of a big deal, I just didn't think I was this much of an asshole, maybe I am...

you can send in a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and ask them if you have any recent games you were validly reported.

will do, thanks for the info! I think I only got a 5 game chat suspension when it happened so it wasn't a huge penalty.
