Rant (Sorry)

Ok, this is a rant.

Let me tell you about myself and a goal of mine. Name's JustCallMeGunner and am in the bronze division (Bronze 3 x2). I started out in bronze 2 and quickly fell down the ranks because, you know, bronze is the land filled with afk/trolls/feeders etc. My goal atm is to leave this godforsaken land of bronze and get into silver. From what I hear, silver ain't as much different than bronze, just fewer trolls and whatnot and a silver border. The point is, I'm stuck and I want out. If it would come to it, I would love for someone to carry me to silver 4 at the very least (this would be a last resort since I'd love to get there myself, but I'm having issues with other humans of the league world).

I can't stand the Bronze Division. It's full of asshats who chose not to climb because they enjoy bringing people down or others who don't know how to use their brain for even a second (i.e tunneling and/or not helping the team and running off). I'm aware I'm not the best player in League and that I'd take the time to get better and (sadly) carry every game, but I don't want to be the one to rely on every game. I want to be in that division/part of league where it stops being a one man fuck-fest to a team game. I love teamwork, I love it when teammates help each other out. It make's me smile when the JG doesn't ignore your lane for the entire game and then blames the feeding on you when clearly you asked many times and never got any help or when the support/adc fails to help properly. I'm sure many of you heard this before, but it is completely true. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK. I hate it how I was placed in bronze when (sorry for the narcissism) I'm clearly better than my teammates (albeit not all the time, obviously). being in bronze for solo/duo while being vs gold/plat in flex is a huge gap. Yes, I play with friends who are better than me, but that really depends on the lane and champion. Primarily, the only reason I win in flex more vs gold/plats than in bronze for solos and duos is that I play with friends (3-5 players) as a team.

I despise dropping ranks because of 3-4 other players who play ranked as soon as they become lvl 30 and know nothing of the game and how to play. I've seen a poll once in the forums about how many hours you need before you can play ranked after lvl 30 and one of the highest rated answers was around 300+ hours after lvl 30 (which I strongly agree with). Being queued up with fresh 30's is really annoying. It also irritates me when someone tells me that (when losing) that it's just a game and that the point is to have fun. How do you have fun when you're getting ass raped in 3 lanes and the JG is mia (missing in action for those who didn't know <3). How do you enjoy yourselves when you spawn in and die instantly a few seconds later. How do you have fun in a ranked game when winning is the only way to rise and losing will bury you to the ground. You can't have fun in a ranked game, the point is to win and not lose. If you want to play and lose, go in Blind Pick, fewer people give a shit if they lose because of it won't matter as much. For fucks sake, if you want to go malz JG, don't do that in ranked, go do that in Blind Pick.

In conclusion, I want to leave the bronze division. Silver is not really special and most of the time counter as good as bronze, but I'd be a lot more confident shouting I'm a Silver 5 than telling someone I'm a bronzy. Those rare games where I queue up with players who want to rank up and actually team up are the games I remember the most and enjoy myself. Sometimes I don't even care if I lose when I play with others as a team, it makes me smile when there is a team present. If you're a newbie, don't play ranked right away, instead, play draft and understand how it works (It's really similar to ranked). Once you get the feel of it, you can start ranked. I also suggest (personally) that you get a lvl 7 champion before starting so you can carry if need be.

TL;DR I want out of bronze, ill get someone to carry me if I have to. Play as a team and don't fuck around in ranked. If you're there to fuck around, don't play ranked, some of us want to leave the shittiest division and climb. I sometimes cry at the stupidity of some players (true story). If I have to, I'll resort to someone boosting me. That's how bad I want out of this nightmare division.

I usually feel bad complaining about others, because it makes me feel bitchy, but sometimes you gotta let some steam out (which I'm very bad at).

and remember, TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK!!!!! <3 [slayer-jinx-catface]

Gold5 is the only rank that matters.

That said, I can play with you a few times to see. I am not great, but if I get you into Silver I can. Add me to see.

Just so you know, there are a lot of things with a quick glance that I can promise you that you can work on to carry yourself out of bronze. Having 3 cs per minute in most of your games is the quickest way to lose next to inting.

Naturally speaking as well, if bronze is the land of afks and int'ers, you have 4 possibilities of it being your team, and 5 possibilities on the other team (assuming you are neither inting or afk). That means that off that premise alone you should have a 55% win rate, which is enough to climb. Because you have a 41% win rate, it is safe to assume that you are a major factor in most of your games as to why you cannot win.

There is always an alternative. You say you enjoy games where you have teammates who want to climb? Make a ranked 5s team or join one. You can easily get into silver flex through that if you think you could get it by just having people who want to try. You still get the same end of season rewards.

Hi there,

I took a quick glance through your match history, and from the looks of it ...it seems like you've had quite a bit of success playing support champs like Thresh and Lulu

Perhaps you should consider playing support more often? You seem to do very well, and out of all the roles it demands that you work with your teammates (at the very least your adc)

I want to be in that division/part of league where it stops being a one man fuck-fest to a team game.

I imagine that in most Bronze games there tends to be lots of kills. From just your last three games, there has been a total of 64, 74, and 82 deaths. That's a lot of deaths.

Compared to my plat games, there's still a lot, but not has high with my last games having a total of: 50, 69, 77 deaths. As you move up in rank, there tends to be less and less deaths (still lots of fighting though cause this is NA!)

Best of luck finding a duo, or practicing more in draft. But I think you could have a decent chance climbing by playing support, it definitely forces you to view the game a certain way (and help your teammates while you're at it!)

GL HF!

A quick glance at your history shows your farming is good enough for your level, probably even for silver. But I think what you're lacking is strategic know-how. Your games are very long, with quite a few games going over 50 minutes, and most hovering at 40-45 or so. This tells me that you don't know how to close out a game. By around the 25 minute mark, a team in the lead is usually strong enough to close out the game, and it's usually just 1 or 2 good calls to do so. However, By the 40 minute mark, that lead is likely gone, as gold advantage eventually caps out (run out of space for items, opponents catch up). There are quite a few games there where you were fed but lost anyway, which means you didn't close out the game when you could have.

Of course, this is just based on the numbers that I see, so it's hard to give any specifics. Learn the game, learn the strategy, learn how to close out a game.
