This is the most terrible part of the new match making system by far. I am rush picking a champ because of the other team picked my champ and my team is arguing over who I should play. Barely miss the lock in...... now im wait 30 minutes?????????? This is my first time. Like come on that's a bit ridiculous. This game is becoming literally the least fun game on the planet with every new change they make. 6.3 is not going to be fun.

Personally, I always go into the draft mode with at least two champions in mind, for exactly this kind of situation. I've been sniped a couple of times, either by bans or picks, and I've never been in a situation where I feel like I'm in a panic to find another champion.
I would rather encourage such behavior, and encourage active participation in the draft mode. I think it produces a better champion select and a better game.
There is no reason for it to kick people for not locking in. All it does is lead to longer que times because people sometimes forget.

just because you are too stupid to read the notification. why the hell should i wait 60 sec just because you are too lazy to lock in your fucking champ? deal with it i dont wanna waste time i wanna play the game.
