What do i do with toxic players on my team?

I really dont know what to do with toxic players. One game I played adc kennen. i was doing fine, but got a lot of deaths because enemy mid and jg was fed. Tyrnd started flaming me for going kennen adc and being "useless" even though i was being more usefull than many members on team. In the end they all reported ME for "flaming, "afk, and "trolling". I come across these types of players almost everygame, I dont know what to do about them. I report them but they all report me for no reason so im more likely to get banned. What do I do?

Mute them and report after the game. If they are flaming you, generally they aren't saying anything useful in chat like flash timers etc.

If you are getting 4x reports every game, especially for things like "afking" then you might actually be doing something wrong. I'm not sure you're being fully honest in your OP here.

If you aren't doing anything wrong, then don't worry about it. Just play the game, do the best you can and things will work out. Some people are negative when they are losing, it happens. Ignore them, report them if needed, and enjoy yourself.

What Couch said. If I've muted someone, they've already crossed the line and muting doubles as a reminder to report the player.

Grab an empty trash bag.
Place toxic players in trash bag.
Move to nearest trash can.
Place trash bag in trash can.
Take trash bag out on garbage day.
Have garbage men pick up trash.
???

Muting is the best idea. Don't bother trying to show them why they're wrong, deep down they know what they're saying is unfounded but because they need to blame someone besides themselves they won't ever admit to that. Don't let people tilt you like that, just mute them as soon as they say something you find rude or unsettling. Focus on playing the game on your own and enjoying the things that you can do. Also don't worry about excessive reports. So long as you're confident you aren't flaming/raging/trolling or being rude/racist then the system will just ignore those reports. Report the actual culprit and move along your merry way.
