so i just got threatened again in game for physical violence irl
its not a new thing, it happens all the time.... i reported them, but honestly whats it matter if i did, they will do it again

And you feel threatened by them?
These people are mostly all bark and no bite, but if you're feeling seriously threatened, go call the cops. There have been people arrested over internet threats.
I've been playing league since the rear end of season 3. I've never been threatened or provoked people enough to illicit such response. What was going on when this happened? Were they being toxic before issuing the threat? Did you mute them?
