Banned for a bad Game

I am a ranked player, I only play ranked when i play on summoner's rift unless im in a group. I always play ranked when I'm playing solo. That's just how I like to play. I like the seriousness. I've worked to maintain my rank of silver 5-3 this season, where i climbed from bronze. I've played hundreds of games there, trying to climb. It may sound meager, but I work at it. I usually play teemo top, as a onetrick, but i was trying to branch out. I was playing ap shen. I had some very bad games, i won't lie.

Apparently, in One of the games, where i went 1/14/3 against a darius, which i admit was not the smartest thing to play ap shen into, but i was flike, 1st or 2nd pick and teemo was banned. He stomped me hard, just killing me under tower 100-0, not even with my dash could i get away. I tried to lane swap, being a team player, but i died in mid too against the akali. I also died quite a bit trying to save teammates with my ult, giving them a 1500 damage shield but putting myself in a dangerous situation, since my whole team wasn't doing well. I built cdr and had ult hunter for more, so i did this kinda often, trying to protect carries and then taunting to further peel for my team, usually dying while distracting their team in my W as the W ended. I died, but i figured i wasn't worth much anyway because of how the bounty system works. My whole team was kinda doing bad though, someone had 9 deaths, and someone else 8. We only took their first mid turret, which I was there for. The enemy team took all our turrets. We lost. We lost the game at 26 minutes 15 to 36 in kills. My team reported me for inting cuz i wouldn't build how they wanted, even though i had already bought nashors. I wasn't inting. I did bad, but I wasn't inting. I got banned for 14 days for this one game, according to the player report card thing that pops up when you try to log in while banned, and 14 days is the base punishment for "inting". I stopped trying it before I even got banned, and I won a game as teemo before this ban went through.

I feel this is unearned. 2 weeks? For one bad game as cited by the player report card? I know my match history will show a bunch of games in a row today where i played shen top ap and just did bad. I wasn't trolling though. I wanted to try a build. I know people will say "Don't do that in ranked." The thing is, though, i only play ranked. I did it a couple games in a row because I wanted to give it a fair shot, but I stopped because I realized it wasn't doable, even in silver. I wasn't inting in any of those games, and I certainly wasn't inting in that one. I did very bad, yes, but I was trying. Why have I been banned for 2 weeks like this?
