Using the surrendering mechanic in the game as intended is not negative attitude, it's not wanting to play the game anymore. People have the right to Surrender just like you have the right to want to keep playing, which is why we have a system in place that lets the majority decide what happens. The majority did not enjoy the game anymore and wanted to leave because of it.
I understand it can be frustrating, even in Ranked, but sometimes people are so tilted and frustrated they just genuinely want to leave the game, even if it is winnable because at that point they're not having fun, they're just upset, and it causes them to play even worse.
yo psyrik, the other day i was in a game we coulda won and they ffed without my consent. we were like 0 - 9 within first 15 mins and they tried ffing then, but we picked up some kills by the 20 minute mark like 5 - 16 and they just still didnt wanna try
By definition, voting to surrender is giving up and should therefore be a punishable offense. If you do not report people for giving up, then you should not report people for anything. That being said, I think that it's harsh for Riot to punish people for wanting to ff; but hey, they made the rules, I'm just following them.
Ranked, while still for fun, is where you try your hardest to get to the next rank, where you play to win and play competitively.
This is untrue. "Ranked" means just that: your gameplay will be ranked. It is not a "competitive" mode, it is not a "try-hard" mode. You are allowed to play however you want to play and have your play ranked.
