I had a moment of solidarity with my team in ARURF

So we had a fairly toxic Kai'Sa who was flaming Vayne for leaving bot lane to farm the jungle (since ARURF Kai'Sa just takes all the farm should she so choose) then continued flaming her everytime she died or lost an objective. The Kai'Sa herself solo pushed bot the entire game and the enemy team kind of just ignored her? They made it into our base when she destroyed their nexus. That's how little attention she was being shown by the enemy. She starts to brag in the post game lobby, but our team universally agreed: we didn't like her. Yeah, no, she single handedly carried us to victory, but we, four strangers, decided we'd have preferred a loss with a less toxic teammate.

And it felt good.

You felt vindication by having unanimous judgement against the toxic player from the other the players on your team.

Pow-wow experience aside, does this little ganging-up against him/her help anything aside from your ego?

I say it is poor behavior. Please do not gang up against individuals where there is no need to. You know (s)he was toxic, you'd rather not play with it, but by making it vocal in such a manner you are alienating the offender and subtly pushing him/her to feel more of an outsider, and more inclined to not give a shit about other players.

I'm Not asking you to be a behavioral paragon of virtue, but please don't gang up on players.
