@Riot Leaver Warning, Zero LP Gain, No Awards...for a game that I played in

**Going to copy and paste my discussion from my support ticket: ** "I disconnected out of the game for 5-6 minutes from my internet crashing. I was able to get back into the game, didnt feed and helped the team finish the game out with a win.

I got 0 LP for this game. Why I find this frustrating is because of how bad players and trolls have been in ranked this season to finally get a win in my placements (I have refused to play with the attempted system) to then not get the win, not get LP , and get a Leaver Warning is extremely disheartening.

I played this game. I disconnected at level 5. My lane opponent was level 8 when I returned. We both finished the game at Level 16.

What I am requesting is that I get the LP that is rightfully earned for the game that was played."

Response I received "Hi there! Unfortunately Riot cannot give back LP, wins, MMR, or any such thing. When you DC from a game Leaverbuster comes in with a penalty, as it does not know if you left on purpose or not. This penalty may result in the loss of LP or the loss of promotion game to discourage players from leaving games.

I know it is not always fair but this is the only way the system knows how to discourage leavers/AFKers. I hope in the future the system is able to detect when it is on purpose or not. But for now it cannot. Leaverbuster is activated after 2+ minutes of disconnection. Apologies for the inconvenience.

If you would like to express your concerns to a Rioter I can reroute you, as I myself am a Hextechnician whom has no control over Riot's Leaverbuster, your LP, or any parts of Riot's system._"

I understand Riot has its systems set up for a reason because of the amount of players that do leave games but when the game is 40 minutes and I was afk 5-6 minutes and played over 30 minutes how can I NOT get any of the rewards for playing the game.

I doubt anyone at Riot will respond but just the concerns of one of many cheated by the system.

Whether you won or lost, your internet problems are still not problems that should be inflicted on 9 other people in the game. No matter what they told you, it's going to be very, very difficult to tell the difference between "internet crashing" and someone pulling a cable, shutting their computer down on purpose, or any other methods that don't involve quitting the League client manually.

Should be fixed tbh Really frustrating and it has happened to me where I actually carried the game.

Now that I know that his happens however, if I DC I usually just stayed DC and let my team lose.

Petty? Hell yeah, but if I am not going to get LP for something out of my control I am taking people down with me as a protest.
