How are there accounts like "Adolf H..." or "N... killa" allowed in this game?!

Is it too much to ask to have the client automatically prevent the most obviously INAPPROPRIATE names in this game? Is that something that is too hard to "type" (you just cannot call it "program", it's too easy for that, as Draven would say)?

Yes, I report these names every single time... but I end up playing against them again and again and again...

Why is Adolf Hitler inapropriat? There Adolf has been a quite Common Name Back in the days. Just cause one guy with the Name did Bad stuff people can't Name them that Way?

If I can have a guy in my team named JosefStalinUSSR and that being allowed then I don't see why Adolf H. name should be inappropriate. Don't make me count what they have done J.S. was 1000 times worse. And also Im pretty sure that having the n word in your name when you get reported once makes you namechange. Riot has 0 tolerance policy for this word

I don't really know i just think they should put more people on reviewing the "bad names" reports. But when you begin to do something like that where do you put the limits ? i mean someone named like Donal Trump could be seen as offensive by Puerto Ricans, someone named like "Polanski" could be seen as offensive by anyone who believe women shouldn't be raped, you can find hundreds of cases where a name can be seen as offensive by someone but not by others hitler is an obvious case and on the other hand someone named adolf hitler might not be seen as offensive by nazis, someone named Polanski might not be seen as offensive by someone who is a fan of his work.... ( you can extrapolate there is thousands of name that could be offensive for someone.. )

So, where do you put the limits ? Do you think any rapist names shoudln't be allowed ? What do you do if someone real name is really Roman Polanski ?

Btw Adolf is a sir name so if Riot bans the name their taking Austrian rights.

Hmmm.. I think there is an exaggeration with the term "again and again".

But I agree that they should apply the zero tolerance system to the name / club names.

I played against someone with the club tag "NI66A" yesterday. Reporting won't do anything.

To answer your question of is it really that hard to ban these names, yes... yes it is.

People can use all sorts of symbols in the name to avoid the boys attention. Once these are banned trolls WILL come up with other ways to do it.

Because Riot doesn't seem to care enough about this particular issue. All this talk about toxicity & claims of "context matters" is a load of crock.

What matters is the # of reports they get. System is usually automated.

Inappropriate names should be flagged and dealt with personally, but yes, I do see people I've reported with offensive names/club tags playing again with the same name.

The fact that there isn't a zero tolerance policy on racism does bother me, especially since I've been doled out chat restrictions for swearing. The least they can do is permanently ban their accounts and have them start over. But that would cut into their profits.

Haven't spent a dollar since then.

It worries me that out of a billion+ name choices and combinations, these people have to pick out those two specific words.

Out of everything that could have been written that wasn't exactly 'controversial' or 'offensive'.

Like seriously, lol.

So you can take demon's name and consider that appropriate, but other people can't name themselves w/e they want?
