After game chat - report?

So i had this game with a really toxic Ashe . It got worse after the game was over. Now they have the report button right there, but as far as I know, this only includes the chat from the game, not the chat log from the lobby before and after the game, correct?

Anyways, this Ashe proceeded to wish death upon me, told me to slice my wrists, and bleed out, while (s)he wanted to watch me die. I screenshotted it, submitted a ticket and attached the after game chat log and image to a manual player report by sending in a ticket. Thinking this will either take forever to be seen by Riot, or even ignored, I moved on. 10h later I get an email thanking me for the report, and for pointing out such bad player behavior. The email stated due to privacy regulations they won't be able to let me know if that player got punished. But I'm sure this Ashe got served justice. Riot wouldn't make the effort in replying to me with an email with over 100 lines of text, and then ignoring that player.

In the email it also said that the in-client report feature is a better and faster way to report people. I agree that it's faster (I've gotten over 10 notifications this season alone that my report triggered a punishment on a player) , but does that kind of report even include after-game chat? If not, I guess manual reports by tickets are the only way to do that, right?

That is correct. But you can do something about it. In the report just mention the pre-game and post-game chat flame. It will be flagged for a manual review of those when it gets picked up.

Humans learn social perspective at about the age of 5. You, and some others, are in the small percentage that completely skipped this. You cannot grasp the idea that many others have different lives and different experiences, than you. You cannot cope with the reality that just because you are not affected by something, doesn't mean no one else is. A fact that should be clear from the astounding amount of opposition you stand against.

I understand that you may not be able to internalize this knowledge completely, as it does not lign up perfectly with the experiences you have had in your own life, but I do wish you the best of luck in the future if you do decide to try.

I am in no way, shape, or form saying what this ashe said is ok...because it is not. The problem I have is with people's sensitivity. This poster is soooooo effected by an individual he doesn't even know. That's a problem. Not only was he effected, he also took time out to write this post. More and more I've noticed that people never look at themselves and see what they can do to improve. All I see is people blaming others and telling others they need to change. Now does this ashe need to change...of course. But the only person you can change in your life...is yourself. Poster needs to grow a thick skin and grow emotionally stronger if he wants to continue interacting with other human beings.

Poster reported Ashe. Ashe got most likely punished and won't play any more (at least for two weeks if only temp. ban). Poster didn't have to change himself in order to change the environment he's playing in. Poster wins.

2 things...you didnt change the environment. lol if you thing that, you give yourself to much credit. 2nd, you have no idea if he got banned. if you dont see that you need to grow just a lil stronger emotionally...i dont know what to tell. they will always be on "ashe" in the world...you just need to deal with it better.

True, I don't know if he got banned. And even if he got punished, it might just be his first warning. Who knows. But it's unlikely he just got away with it. It was obvious misbehavior and Riot obviously took notice of it.

And did I change the environment? Well, depends. Did he get a warning and doesn't care, continues to be toxic? Then no, I didn't change it.

Did he get a warning and he does change his behavior? Then yes, I did. Did he get punished and banned? Then I certainly did.

Riot has access to the pre/post game logs.

If you wanted your report to be clear, just say "post game chat" in your report notes and it'll be enough.

Have they officially stated that? I've searched for a Riot statement but couldn't find one.

Riot Tantram has said it a couple of times, I really don't want to look for it as the search function in the boards is crap.

They record champ select chat. I can't imagine this being different for post-game chat.
