What's the point of a perma ban if toxicity still goes on?

people who might flame maybe wont even get reported or banned and still flame. a banned guy will say "i've got 4 permas" as a badge and maybe get worse with each perma. why is riot keeping up with it? why they don't find another way to get the flame off? I really need a rioter to explain to me how permabans are working while we get nothing but flamers on every game, because as it seems to me, it's all about the money, not about the community.

permaban sounds more of a revenge from a player to a player. toxicity havent stopped and wont stop that way

im tired of playing with flamers every game.

What's the point of medicine if we're all going to die anyway

If you're looking for 100% removal of toxicity from your gaming experience, might I suggest single-player Minecraft?

Joking aside, we all understand where you're coming from, but these threads "zomg Riot's not doing anything" that pop up several times a day are a little tired - they can't give you a 100% aggravation-free gaming experience with a multiplayer online game. No company can.

No situation that deals with people is going to be 100% free from bad situations, assholes, and morons. Do you have a job? If so - you know that the asshole doesn't always get immediately fired, and may never get fired. Been to parties? Isn't there always one asshat who's too drunk, too loud, too stupid? Doesn't always get kicked out, does he?

Focus on your own experience and the positive interactions you have. Instead of the one jerk in the game, focus on the 8 others who are not jerks. Add them after games, play more with them.

I mean, got any better ideas?

How would YOU go about doing it then? Everyone seems to think they can do Riots job better yet dont ever actually do anything about it.

Think of how large the game is, how large the community is. I want you to imagine how many employees it would take to (literally) weed out every single case of toxic behavior, review every single offense without delay, manage gameplay balance when you have 100+ champions with different kits that vary in regard as to utility, damage, mobility and sustain, maintain their servers to accommodate a worldwide playerbase and still have time to occasionally post on the forums, host E-sports, make new skins, implement patches...

It’s easy for someone to say “Why aren’t they doing their job” but a completely near-sighted approach that, as history has shown, very rarely gains traction or creates its own change.

What's the point of being tokseek if it gets you banned, and you cry about it?

Afaik Riot said the vast majority of permabanned players doesnt come back. There simply isnt a different solution that works better. There have always been flamers and there will always be flamers. If it was about the money they wouldnt ban players or allow them to purchase a unban.
