Toxic players have destroy this game--one which I used to have so much fun playing. As mentioned, I've deleted the game (after spending over 500 on champs and skins) and I won't ever be coming back.

As a person with high social anxiety, league was a sort of way for me to be around people without being around too many people. But it's not like that anymore. I've grown tired of the rampant toxicity that has grown unabated in this community. Chances are extremely high that someone will begin flaming in any given game I play, including games in which I am trying to introduce new players to League. And the extent to which these disgusting people are willing to go to make people feel bad is beyond reprehensible--it's an outright condemnation of Riot's management of their own game and community.

Having expressed the aforethought, it's with no heavy heart that I say goodbye to League.

Ciao.

If your anxiety is so intense that you struggle with verbal abuse in game, then you should probably see a doctor about that. I have pretty bad generalized anxiety but I'm able to somewhat control it. When I'm having days that it's particularly bad, I have medication for that. However, it still wouldn't hurt to talk to a doctor about things you can do to improve your situation.

When I feel like I can't handle the toxicity, I use "/mute all" or "/fullmute all". If you haven't gotten rid of LoL completely yet, maybe give it a try? [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I mean nothing prevents you from muting everyone as soon as the game starts, or even moving chat box offscreen.

if you can't handle toxicity than sadly the internet is not the place for you, and certainly not a game that requires the degree of teamwork necessary in league of legends. Such things inevitably lead to toxicity.

It has been a good while since I have seen anyone be really toxic in this game. Have you considered that maybe you are unknowingly perpetuating or amplifying the toxicity of your games?

Getting you to quit the game and have a bad time is the goal of a troll. Out of 1/20 games I'll have a troll flaming me. Just play, report, and move on.

You should probably take a break from League if it's starting to get unhealthy for you. Since you said you're suffering from anxiety, you should go see a psychiatrist and see what he/she can do and that you should also find another hobby that's healthy and can relieve you from your anxiety.
