Cant the "a player got banned" message appear more often?

as it is right now it only appears when a player got banned and the last game he played was with you and you reported him.

until now i got that message 1 time and i was so happy i was like "omg thank you riot, i finally feel like my reports help clear the toxic flamers" it was such a good feeling. wasnt the purpose of this message to give players this feeling? to make them not feel helpless?

i think it should work like this: if you report someone this report gets "stored" for 72 hours. if the reported player gets banned in those 72 hours YOU GET THE MESSAGE THAT YOUR REPORT BANNED SOMEONE!!! this would make players happy. give them the feeling that riot deals with those players. in a bunch of games i still feel like "yea this guy will be banned for sure" but the message doesnt appear. and i feel like riot doesnt care. but i know this guy gets banned if he continues. maybe next game? BUT THAT DOESNT HELP ME! i want to know when some toxic 'insert insult' who wishes my all kinds of cancer gets banned!
